The WiiU shows a limit of 300 games and if we install more they are no longer displayed. Although, they remain stored in the hard disk,
it does not matter if we create folders, they´ll no longer be displayed. They remain installed on the hard disk, but they can not be played.

Right now I have 122 WiiU games installed.
I also have the rest of the Virtual Console games and I have not install 25 more games, and then those that keep putting in uTikDownloadHelper.

Is there a way to install more than 300 games in the Wii U?
For SysNand or RedNand?

THANK YOU

You get a second harddrive, and start a second collection.

You might also want to catalog what games would be on which drive, so you don't have to remember them all.
I don't think his problem is storage space, it's that he wants all 300+ games available at once.

I wasn't aware this was an issue, I just assumed the Wii U made extra pages once you filled it up?

it's the same thing as the 3ds, for some reason developers putted a limit of 300 games on the menu\system..
the wii IIRC also has a limit on the channels, i don't remember how many is the limit

That's interesting, I guess it's a performance choice to not let the menu get lagged down too much.

I think you might be misinformed about the rules here...
Not only misinformed, but actually breaking them by shitposting himself. Tut tut.

Is it a 300 game hard limit? Could putting some titles into folders help?

Edit: missed the part you mentioned folders in the op, my bad.

Are you actually going to play all 300+ games? There is only a handful of decent WiiU titles released and the rest are shit/shovel-ware.
Yeah, even when I torrent rompacks, I only select the handfull I'll actually play, LOL.

Jayro - I do not think I can buy another hard drive for more games, I will wait until they release the SysNand or RedNand to install more games. Thanks for your answer.

You made me think with this possible solution, but when you enter the RedNand reads the USB with the games you read with SysNand, I do not think it can be done as you say

----------

subcon959 -
Between the page of Nintendo and in the section of games for wiiu including that of Virtual Console are a total of 900 Approximately are like 150 games of WiiU and 750 games of Virtual Console, then the wiiu has a limit as they comment that the 3DS has it

What I wanted was that you can see all the games that install and that not be 300 games

----------

migles - I read in a post regarding the 3DS that has a limitation, regarding the wii I never had any problem since in this case, I had a channel (USB Loader GX) in the menu of Wii and I was surfing from the USB and then opened the USB Loader GX and any game is visualized, on the Wii I have about 500 games

----------

Minox -
I'm sorry if I put this post in this section, but I think that more than piracy is something of modification to the system (I believe) I'm sorry if it ise wrong to post this topic in this place, nor do I look for the comments to leave the subject only that I asked If there was any way to have more than 300 games by means of modification or something similar

----------

retrofan_k - Good point your comment, I only commented if there is a modification to skip this limitation of 300 games, obviously I do not think to play all, since soon the Nintendo Switch is done, I just want to have a console that has as many games as possible

----------

xande333 - I had a total of 275 games, then I installed 50 virtual console games and they were the total of 325, and I left the aforementioned billboard, then I thought about what you said, was a folder and filled it (approximately 60 games per folder) and Reboot the WiiU to be able to continue installing, but at the start of the WiiU I was leaving the same sign that had to delete games, all 50 games were installed, but only saw 25 in the menu of wiiu the rest were installed on the disk hard

----------

I do not play all, obviously, but it does not have more to have a lot of variety and apart for FREE

I do not come to publish this post with the purpose of affecting anyone and I am demanding that they do everything possible to do it, just comment that if it was possible to skip that limitation in WiiU

Thanks to everyone for your comments, I will only wait to see if they can release the wiiu to install more than 300 games, in case they do not, I have to buy other hard drives, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

I am so sorry for the English, but I used Google Translator

You are a genius, in this case I can take advantage of the MicroSD that I have in the WiiU which is 200 Gb at this moment I have over 170 Gb and can exactly serve me for Virtual Console games

Just leave research as to use it, since I never use it until a method to install games via USB, also, back then I did not have this MicroSD memory

Because I think I have to decompress the games for Loadiine and USB have to be compressed

Thank you for this information, I will investigate a little about Loadiine

GENIUS!!!

You could use the Vitual Console titles with the vWii emulators and put it on the SD-card. Why even bother with Loadiine and stuff? It's the same result anyway.

If he's gonna use emulators, he might as well use the nightly builds of RetroArch for Wii U and keep everything in one area. They're already very good and have access to more power then the vWii, meaning more accuracy over time.
