I'm not going to add vehicles guys. There is only 3 bounding boxes to utilize in quake, null, player size, and shambler. None of them are vehicle shaped. Not to mention, the physics and geometry of quake mapping would not be great. It's been demonstrated before and its hacked up to work and it still barely works right.
Not to mention I lost the revision 17 source so no gameplay changes can be made to the code without going back to revision 15 source code and losing a ton of gameplay changes, breaking firefight. I would have to go back up figure out everything I added between revision 15-17 and code it all back manually, and I'm not sure I really want to do that. Maybe on a rainy day

Are you serious with this shit? I clearly stated "don't publicly announce where the Git is". This denotes that a leak wouldn't happen unless someone else was let in on the repository. Also, private Git repositories are possible.

Private git repositories cost cash money, but bitbucket is a good free alternative. I started putting my Unity projects on there after I lost source one too many times, would recommend.

Progress on the HUD is going well, I am rewriting old code to be more efficient. Crosshairs had to be completely implemented from scratch because none of my sources were up to date. Red Crosshairs work on enemies as well(just bad timing in this photo that its not on, citras a little slow). More to come guys!

Quick question: can homebrew apps use the download play feature? If so, that would be so cool for playing local!
if it could... we would be figuring out how to use download play to copy and paste exploits onto other 3ds's through download play... lol

I mean anythings possible, but the quake engine without heavy modification is really terrible for vehicles
well there is a skateboard mod for quake so why the hell not??

Hey that's awesome, i can never figure out an awesome HUD like that, keep it up! Im impressed by your coding, even looking in the psp halo code, it just makes sense, and that halo crosshair is awesome!

Obviously, the game looks way better than halo ds. You underestimate @TCPixel , the game already looks better, and the gameplay seems more fun, i mean i can play the ds version right now but i am just waiting to play this halo port, he is improving it and all, porting it properly to 3DS. I plain out ported the PSP version and i tried to edit it but i keep failing, i just do not have the talent to fix the cl_ww bug and the respawn bug, let alone add a new hud and fix all the gamemodes!

thing is are the graphics limted by the quake engine the 3ds does not have the best graphics but most retail 3ds games have way better graphics then this

I agree, but it still does look better than halo ds. Do you think porting the quake2 engine will be good? Maybe we can have some actionquake too! But then i think it will take more work to port the halo mod to it. Or maybe write another engine for an fps, or use unity idk?
