That's gonna be fun to install, not. I'm getting close to running out of internal NAND storage on my Wii U; I do have an external HDD for it, but ugh. Oh well. Hopefully it's the last update the game gets. I'm looking at the different versions on NEW-NUSGrabber and I don't specifically see 0120, closest I see is either "latest" or "128", but I don't see "0120". Should I just go with latest?

So, I've got an extracted copy of Phantom Hourglass that I modified to work with the DPAD.
Is there any way to pack it into a WUP? And, most importantly, does this even work on 5.5.1?
If it does work, @SonyUSA, you might want to update the original post...

I don't think you can install VC titles, even if you dumped the original one and modified it.
Something might differ from the original VC and you might end up with trouble.

Well, loadiine doesn't load it for whatever reason, and this seems to be my only option, unless that VC injection thing with TCPGecko PERMANENTLY installs the inject to the internal storage and I don't have to reinject every time...

I took the time and finished up the wupinstaller stuff today that I started last weekend. It now finishes the update clean and correctly and exits back to Mii Maker / HBL without any issues. So you now have the more proper way of installing titles on it (previous install progress version) and that without a hang at the end.

Furthermore I added a new feature to it. You can now choose where to install the title to. If you press A you will install the title to the system memory and if you press X you can install the title to the USB storage device (only game updates). If no WiiU formatted USB storage is attached you will get an error and it will return to the wup installer menu.

Here is a test version to see if it also works for others and not only for me and @dibas :

Like before it should work on any firmware that HBL works on. I might add a selection menu for titles on the SD card at some point for a 2nd release (not only "/sd/install" path) but I dont know when I find the time for it. Its not on the top of my list.

Report if you find something out of the ordinary. I will make a release out of it in a few days and put up the source code on github if nothing pops up.

I used it to update Smash on 5.5.1 yesterday. My Home Menu still flashes the icon blue as if it has an update available, but it boots into the new game update just fine.

@Phil5004 it gives you the choice between either, so I'd assume External Storage would work fine.
