It should work on all levels but I don't know. I've tested it with TCPGecko only so I don't know if other methods are working.

I have realized that Money/Level/SeaSnail/Weapon/Gears hacks and Cafiine {text editing, night and day} All require editing the save, which means that they sort of stick, unlike Octohax and Colorhax, which are clientside and turn off after you restart your wii u. Hopefully those SHOULD be safe....I might try it.

Why is everyone using my example of 28 -> 50?

Anyway, I did it, but didn't go online after that, so it's not yet updated on Nintendo's servers. Should I set it back to 28 before playing? Any other hax I should reverse?

Actually the code stated above requires transfer of files it replaces the points you gained in the match with 9999999 and this requires pyGecko - JGeckoU and TCPGecko have the same job just different styles

I'm gonna test the other account that I used the all gear and max coins and level hack on, but not octohax...it'll confirm something.

I wouldn't try to modify any values but when I get home I'll try to do a dump of an unbanned account or something (idk)

Wow, so neither of my accounts are banned, and even on one I had max level, all gear and max coins.
QUestion though, If you ARE banned, What Splatoon or ANY hacks have you used on your wii u? I want to know as IF YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED AND HAVE ONLY USED COLORHAX OR OCTOHAX, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, AS SO FAR, IT IS ONLY THE PEOPLE USING EDIT HACKS..*

Oh gosh, 4 posts..so sorry.
I still assume that it's due to file editing hacks, because all of these money ones and etc mess with files and that's how you keep the items and etc, whereas octohax is gone after you restart...I know i keep repeating this, but I just hope someone agrees. I don't see how Nintendo would care about clientside modding that won't do anything, but hacking into things and changing files, getting max coins....Weirder, and they are technically 1.5-2 ratings, those ones.

I will however start the game offline and put the Lan cable in for a second in the Plaza/gear menu to activate the hack, save it and turn off the wii u. The video i posted recommends doing it that way because it deletes the hack in form of ram (or something like that)

Gonna tell how it worked.

So I just tested the Ability Gear Hack in this video and it worked so far (except for the head gear, which is a bit odd)
After preparing Gecko on the internet browser and everything, I started Splatoon without the Lan Cable. So Splatoon was offline, no news or something.

Then after the title screen, when being in the Plaza, I plugged the cable in to use Gecko. Edited some gear, saved everything (game autosaves anyway) and turned the Wii U off directly. Also plugged of the power cable just to make sure. Then restarted Splatoon normally and played some matches. No ban yet.

My guess is that you get banned only when using Gecko/hacks while being online. As I said I already used the money hack some days ago while offline and didnt recieve a ban either..

I may go and try octohax, due to the fact that most people that were banned DID USE money/level/gear/all of those kinds of hacks {that edit saves} and the Octoling method relies of a server and no files on your wii u.
It is rated for a 0% chance of ban!

Yeah, from the moment it is not. I am going to do a test with using Octohax, as it doesn't mess with the Wii u's actual files. I don't think that anything is actually wrong with TCPGecko, but the mods...Wrong place wrong time, possibly. Does anybody thing that testing an Octoling is a...bad idea? I think that 1: Due to some others testing for bans {Thanks for taking a risk!} and not getting a reaction and 2: My lack of ban
I think it may be safer, but i'm not so sure, so I wouldn't recommend using any of those hacks...Maybe Nintendo of Europe didn't ban anyone..?

Huh, I've done several hacks (Rank/Level, Money/Snails, all gear has triples, Octohax, colourizer) and I'm not banned, I did all of my "hacking" yesterday and the day before while in the plaza or in the weapon testing area

Nintendo was doing pretty heavy maintenance to quite a lot, and this happened late yesterday/early today for most, and probably only for those who used it at the time...
I think that the one that's the worst for this is.. The rank editor.
