I was working on some dumping methods for the games. For now I only got a simple dumper. I wanted some people to test it and see if it dumps the RPLs/RPX correctly without dumping system RPLs and stuff like that. Here is a test version with the necessary payload stuff. It wont work for all games (games such as splatoon wont work for now, I will change that later). You just start the dumper application with the required parameters (in console) and then start the application on the WiiU and enter your IP address of the server (PC) and press A. Then you enter the title you want to dump and it will start dumping the game to your PC into the selected folder (must be absolute for now). Should work theoretically with discs and installed titles.

Here is the test version of the dumper. Currently there is only a windows exe but once I am finished with tests and changes I will provide a linux dumper too and the sources to this and maybe integrate into loadiine gx2.

To dump all RPLs you have to enter the menu/game where the RPL is loaded. Right now I dont have a method to find out what RPLs are all on the game. I will look at it later (wasnt looking for it yet).

Please report your test results to me. I wanna see how good/bad it works.

Oh and this is only 5.3.2 (though should theoretically work on 5.4.0 too).

Btw it got a semi-continue functionality. It will check existing files on the PC and compare the filesize. If the filesize is the same, it will skip the file and continue with the next. To cancel the download, just close the dumper application and it will continue with game launch.

so after running loadiine kernel and running the disc dumper, setup the ip from the pc and pressing a, i was running a game and it hangs and starts to copy all the files

all seems fine and with going nearer to the AP speed is at 1000 kb/s

an important point to all testers if restarting the wiiu for a test during backup please also restart the server because it does not reconnect :( and you have to redo the complete race-condition challenge ;-)
and please make sure to disable autoshutdown before starting backup

after completing the backup the game will run further :)

Testing the dumper, everything connected perfectly and very quick. I'm trying it with Super Mario Maker, when I load there game it hangs on the startup screen and begins to attempt to dump the files, but It 'fails to open' anything.

Here's a quick little snip from my console while its running. (It continues and attempts to grab the rest of the content files)

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm running the program off of my Mac, using Wine.

Edit2: I tried it again and got it to work just fine. The main issue I was having was my path where I wanted it to load the files too on my computer wasn't working. I was able to get it to work fine by using the full path name.

So I figure out how to make the 3D Covers bigger :)

You basically need to resize you cover to a bigger resolution, that's all :P

I recommend this site for you, very easy

Made some progress on porting to 5.0.0 (NOT 5.5.0!!)
Actually the only game loading is Mario Kart 8. Strange that this is complementary to all I've read from 5.3.2.
All other games tested gave me a black screen.
Tested games are Duck Tales, NES Remix, Mario World 3D and Mario Kart 8.

You should better use the higher resolution versions of the images from gametdb instead of resizing them, just to get some better looking images I mean, if you really want them bigger.

so i can report that my mk8 backup runs after the x.th try ;-)

when you have installed mk8 update 4.1 on the wiiu and the disc version 1.0 then it extracts complete version 4.1 not the files from disc :) that was my fault

with ssb mode it runs through loadiineGX, i did not played long but it starts at least :)

How do I use it?

I put the files on the SD card (the ones in extract_to_sd_card.zip). Did nothing with the www folder as the instructions didn't say what to do with it. I went to www.wiiubru.com, clicked on 5.3.2, clicked on Loadiine, clicked on Loadiine SD. It loaded about 90% and then froze. Same happened when I tried the just online method, it froze too.

What did I do wrong? I think I followed the instructions? Am going to try a different SD now just in case. Edit: no good on the new SD card. Edit 2: I tried exploit.wiiubrew.net and it said race attack failed. Edit 3: it worked once, but the second time I loaded it (since you have to do it twice) it got stuck on a white screen with the wii U logo in the bottom right. Have tried it a bunch of times since then and now it always freezes with red pixels randomly on the screen. Does anybody have any advice??
Edit 4: Been trying and trying, no different. Do I need to do something with Mongoose like is mentioned in the definitive guide thread under kernel exploit? I thought maybe it was out of date since this guide doesn't mention anything about Mongoose. Please help, someone :-(

@dimok i compared the files from the backup to my loadiine included mk8 v64 update and all files which are there are also identical

some are missing in the backup and the only file \code\mvplayer-gui.rpl is in the backup and missing in my loadiine v64 version :)

weird question no one may be able to answer but eventually when lets say loadiine works over network meaning online gameplay will having a eur console an dplaying a usa dump online matter? like 3ds headers or is it like wii where it goes online per console id or whatever. basically i want to import and be able to play with whatever region i buy in.

This is not possible yet

I think we will be able to play online after a signcheck patched emuNAND, maybe as installed title in the NAND in the home menu.
