To each their own. I love the concept of EmuNAND, as long as you keep SysNAND untouched you have almost a 0% chance of ever coming close to bricking your console. You can even experiment without repercussions.
I do not like its bootrate though... sometimes it will work first try, other times you'll have to do 4 resets to get into it but thats not much of a problem as it is unofficial software.

I guess from your standpoint if you dont want all the "warez" there isnt much a point.

tell me other downsides (even minor ones) that I can add to the list, discuss ways to overcome them and which ones would be fixable with updates to the CFW/tools.
Creating an emunand partition takes 1gb of space on old 3ds and 2gb of space on new 3ds. Users with really small sdcards can find this inconvenient until they get a new sd with more space availible

The size of the SD card should be no longer an excuse, SD and mSD cards are going down in price.

This, the fact that the emunand takes 1gb of my 4gb SD is very inconvenient, also having to install GBA and DSI games both on emunand and Sysnand Is a little bit inconvenient too.

I use DS games on my emuNAND, and because I use Menuhax + CTRBootManager + self-compiled version of rxTools I only have to restart it when menuhax is going BLEH

i can state it however I like because its a fact, your country is the one with issues on how they mark up prices.

No, not all the countries uses Dollars/Euros/yens and in countries like brazil or mine dollars are very expensive and that makes things like SD cards very expensive, is not only my country.

Any country who doesn't cooperate in trade probably does have high mark up prices, sorry if your country isn't showing much love to the citizens, maybe move to another country and start fresh?

You shouldn't generalize like that, in my country SD cards are expensive as hell.
if normal SD card are expensive in your country , how much the Vita memory in your country ?

sorry , but you can't say that
not everyone can move from country to country
for example , me
i am Syrian and living in KSA , but i can't go back to my country because of wars
and tried every country , they refused me because i am syrian.

the only way for me to move out is to marry someone in that country that have residency visa.

I don't know if the whole downgrading deal causes any trouble (my SysNAND was never above 9.2), but you can inject your SysNAND into your EmuNAND and keep every single save game, downloaded title and Mii Plaza stuff. I didn't lose anything when I set up my EmuNAND.
I was on 10.3 before I downgraded and honestly didn't know much about CFW. I followed a guide that had me format sysnand to unlink.. I guess I didn't lose anything because I backed up my SD card? I'm wondering what all these other people are doing to lose all of their data when setting up CFW.
Also my dstwo works on emunand, but I'm using rxtools ver 2.6
