Switching from sysnand to emunand

Hi all,

I have a few questions. I have a v1 unpatched switch and the latest firmware and atmosphere. I have a 512 gb sd card formatted in exfat. There are about 180 gig software on it. I am using sysnand now but want to use emunand now.

1. Do i have to backup all my 200gig sofware to my pc first and format this SD card or is it possible to make a partition for emunand the way it is now?
2. How much space do i need for emunand? If i don't need to format my sd card and no need to make a backup, can i transfer the software from sysnand to emunand? I am really a noob with this.

Regular emunand size is 1:1 of your internal storage.

Thanks for your reply! So that will be 32 gig. That makes sense
