your launching nintendont directly from homebrew channel?
if so it could be your hdd having issues or something.

Corrected my post a bit- NINTENDONT launches- it's the games that go to black when I press load. I don't get any errors- the games just go to black, and then that's it-

...Uhh... I... Guess?... Dang this is more of a hassle than I thought- sure. I'll try my SD card, that good? It's already FAT32... Don't know about the cluster size though- Windows default I assume- If that fails, I have a couple USBs I could try... I'll get back to ya with the results then.

nintendont is very plug and play friendly if other usb devices or sd cards work then its your usb hdd, sd card should work becuase sdcard uses a diferent process to work but another usb would be preferencial for testing.

Okay dang. It was my HDD... Any tips for getting the HDD to work then?... since I can't have two USB devices active at one time- and I need the space for Wii games...

Edit: Afaik the HDD is 32k cluster size tho.

you dont need bios to play any game so your saying just becuase you refuse to choose either one or the other someone needs to make an option on nintendont menu that praticaly no one will ever use but you? lol
It's comments like this why we can't have civilized topics here -.-

Having such a feature means I can save it to games individually in USB Loader GX, in fact I asked Cyan if it's possible do something like this with GX "as in rename/move the bios file when the option is set to disabled" and he confirmed that it's possible but he didn't want to do it because he believes it'll probably be added to Nintendont eventually, but I'm starting to have my doubts of it ever happening.

Tell you what, if it puts your mind on ease I'm willing to ask around and see how many want an option to disable bios, if I don't get many I'll drop this request, does this suite you?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well there is 3DS controller for the PC, I would use Dolphin but my PC can not run it so I was wondering if it's possible im not asking for someone to make it. I'm not very knowledgable on what wireless signals the wii can accept. Ne need to be dicks about a simple question.
On behalf of GBATemp I deeply apologize, I have you know not everyone here is a dick but I feel your pain, Pedro is known to be offensively sarcastic but you eventually get used to it, he means well though, most of the time.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Now you mention it. I did play Megaman X Command Mission and normal battle theme gone nut like cracking static sound by random time but I still hear music. But other rest of music, it just fine.
Megaman X Command Mission doesn't use audio streaming afaik, it worked fine (almost) when I played it with Dios Mios back in the day, but I noticed it would crash randomly for some unknown reason either during a battle or by entering one, this also happened in Nintendont back in its early days, not sure if it was fixed "I assume it was" since I haven't tested it for a long time but I remember not having this issue when playing the game from the disc, btw I use a clean rip I made from my disc.

Pretty reliably sure it's MBR and FAT32- I used EaseUS partition manager (because it's the only piece of software I found that could do the job) and set the cluster size to 32k...

Is there like a step by step guide on how to format an HDD so it's 100% foolproof?

There you go again, the request have been made many times, the dev knows about it.
If its going to happen, it will happen eventually. Making a poll wouldn't change anything - even if the poll is 100% for it, this is a free homebrew and the dev doesn't get paid. If he doesn't feel like it, it is not going to happen.

In fact, the more you press on the same topic, the more unlikely it is going to happen. You should know well enough how the dev react to that.

This is an open source project. Instead of begging here, you should learn how to code yourself or beg some one else to make a fork or a mod.

Dude, I play that game before and I play real version before. I know audio sound like until I use Nintendont, the audio in battle start messed up. Like something block the audio while music. It hard to explain for this. I will make a video in the morning so you will see my point.

Is there a 100% foolproof step-by-step guide to formatting your HDD? Cause I've tried absolutely everything, and NINTENDONT just won't load the games. It can detect them, it launches without any error code, but then it just goes to black. I'm 99% sure it's my HDD because it works with a USB stick. So... a guide would be helpful... For the record, I'm using a 465GB, USB3, FAT32, 32k, MBR HDD...

maybe your hdd just isnt compatible with nintendont usb code who knows, there isnt much of a guide since its just mbr partitions fat32, the cluster size doesnt matter much.

Now this is a helpful respond, I don't mean to push for it though I was only making a suggestion to solve the issue of using real MCs but the respond I recieved was more of a sarcasm than an explanation, anyway I wasn't really pegging for it, wither it happens or not is up to the devs I was only answering to why it's useful for the user.

I think I know the issue you mean, I tried reporting it before in the DM topic, the thing is it's pure random so unless you know how to trigger so that the devs can look at it I don't know if they can fix it, in any case I assumed it was fixed a long time ago "maybe it was" because it happened in early versions of Nintendont and I haven't played the game for almost a year but last time I did on Nintendont it didn't crash so I figured it probably was fixed, I have a hunch it's to do with audio streaming because I recall it happened before audio streaming was fixed.

Is there a list of incompatible HDDs? ...Is that a thing? Dang though, I don't have any USBs big enough to store my games on then...

I want to confirm that Gekitou Pro Yakyuu - Mizushima Shinji Allstars VS Pro Yakyuu runs fine on Nintendont, converted the CHD file with Fix94's converter and surprisingly the game is fun, of course the timers aren't disabled but that's to be expected.

I also tested the 60fps hack for Super Mario Sunshine and it works fine but I feel like the game runs faster than it should, even rotating the camera is messy, I kept losing but it's probably because I haven't played the game in over a year.
