when did yours ship and what method of shipping did they use. Also where in Texas are you mine hasn't shipped yet jsut curious what to expect the shipping tim eto be.
Well I can't get it to work. Checked my solder points many times, redid them many times, still nothing.
Foundmy sent me the chip in a paper expresspost envelop with no padding whatsoever, so I don't know if its me or the chip itself.
Edit : Swapped my wires and it works now. Haven't played anything, but it can load Excite Bike. Gonna close this bad boy up and more on this later.

I got my chip from Foundmy today as well; I'm in NC, USA.
Lucky I work 2nd shift, so I had a chance to install it before work. I'm pretty impressed with the chip's build, performance, and the setup disc.
Quicksolder, however, is a joke. The points on the chip are way too far from the mark. I chose the quicksolder option anyway for a clean look but I don't suggest that option unless you are fairly experienced.
Sorry to hear that. There's really not a whole lot that can go wrong with the chip. If it doesn't appear physically damaged, then it's probably fine. Mine shipped the same way, paper Priority Mail envelope. Chip was in a sealed ESD bag, inside of a larger ESD sleeve.
One thing missing from the Wiikey, (which was nice on the Cyclowiz) is a status LED, so you could at least tell if your chip was getting power or communicating with the DVD-ROM.

Was this is mistake on your part (contact order) or faulty wires?
Received my batch of chips from eurasia today, already installed 1 in my own PAL wii, works perfect. However alot NTSC gamecube games cannot work in 480p, so i still have to load GCOS to force them in NTSC mode.

Because the chip is so thick and the points dont perfectly match, but i managed to do it, but keep in mind i did 50+ qoob sx installs and 30+ xenogc installs before, so it was not difficult for me, you just have to use alot solder to connect the points correctly.

Well the points on the chip are what you have to be concerned with. They are bigger than the points on the Wii board so that's not an issue.
I'm a noob too but am pretty confident as I've been practicing alot and have assembled the right tools. Still a bit nervous though

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
