Thanks a lot, and the only thing that I will be needing from that are the .dsx and the .smh file right? I can still use the same .bin from reinand.

I have the same problem, see my post above. Do you have any idea what build will work? Or what the solution might be.

Did you both remember to update the ThemeHax ropbin? Go here: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/#otherapp and download the right ropbin for your firmware. Unzip the downloaded file until you have a .bin file, then rename it to menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin and overwrite the old one.

I am following a tutorial that says that I have to install themehax after rxtools.

I'm sorry, you said you were having the same issue as noctis, so I assumed you already had ThemeHax installed.

That fix also managed to break Mr Robot xD Kept going on about uncommitted changes and whatever, so I just deleted the rxTools folder.

and now that it's fixed... does an updated libctru have any effect on function at all? Does this even use it?

Edit: my guess is no. A search didn't find a single mention of ctrulib or libctru...

CakeBrah/source/libkhax uses ctrulib.
Readme should be updated.

Quick changelog : If O3DS user want to use the latest build, you have to run cdn_firm.py again and put generated /firm into sd:/rxTools/.

rxTools boots fine on my N3DS using ThemeHax and the 2.5 payload, however it seems to freeze loading emunand/sysnand.

This is using the build compiled within the last hour.

Extra file called cetk is now needed to decrypt firms (maybe).

Download it and put it in /rxTools/sys

Also have the same problem with the latest lavanoid's build
rxTools hangs at installation data suite, at the first square with firm folder copied to SD/rxTools folder
with firm files copied to rxTools/data rxTools gives NATIVE_FIRM Error
I Also tried with cetk file copied to root, sys, cetk folder inside SD/rxTools, firm folder and no luck
