Homebrew Is there any reason to still own Cubic Ninja?

I have IRONFALL: Invasion and YouTube (not installed currently). My 3DS is on 10.1 (even though I plan on getting a 3DS on a firmware equal to or lower than 9.2 soon (stupidly updated, lost NAND backup, and cannot afford a N3DS)). What use does Cubic Ninja have?

It's the only way to run Ninjhax 1.1, which is required for CFW, IIRC. And it's also a guaranteed way to access homebrew regardless of FW. For FW10.1 though, there's not much use.

To share homebrew with freinds whom failed to get Ironfall in time!
No one I know is interested in homebrew :/
All of my friends are like "noooooo I don't want to be jailed arrested like you you bastard," and I respond, "It's only illegal if you use it to run pirated software," and then they make more excuses like that it ruins the fun of life.
EDIT: changed jailed to arrested for better grammar :D

the sad truth of things is that people still envision this in their mind when you speak of homebrew:

As mentioned, it's the only way to run Ninjhax 1.1 which is required for CFW. Any future CFW that supports newer versions will probably support other entry points as well, so to you it's probably not that useful. However, you should see if you know someone with a 9.2 or lower n3DS first as they would benefit from it (it's the only way to install CFW on a n3DS)

Otherwise, I would suggest selling it to someone who needs it, possibly on GBAtemp.

It's handy having it knocking around simply as a way to reinstall exploits should you mess anything up. For example, I didn't really use my physical copy of Cubic Ninja very often (prefering a .cia on the console) until I bought my New 3DS when I could then use it to install Gateway. If my MSET exploit ever gets messed up for whatever reason (which is has a couple of times, such as formatting EmuNAND) it's nice to have an exploitable physical game around just in case.

But only you would know if you really need it. If you don't already have it, there's probably not much point in buying it.

It's pretty usefull to have a physical game as an entrypoint since it can be used if you need homebrew on another 3DS, as Ironfall isn't there anymore. (It also doesn't requires internet everytime like Tubehax).

EDIT: It's even more usefull if you get a <=9.2 o3DS

I thought you didn't need Cubic Ninja for CFW? Can't you just use RxTools with the browser.

EDIT: NVM I didn't notice the N in N3DS XD

That's not fully accurate. I own a o3ds and I bought CN for hombrew when ninjhax came out, and then used it to boot pasta and rxtools, but now I borrowed it to a friend. I currently use spider to boot rxtools although I could downgrade mset to boot it without an internet conection.
The only case where CN is mandatory is the first time to boot ninjhax 1 on a n3ds. Then you can downgrade mset and boot from there so you don't need CN anymore.

Also to acces the hombrew channel without the physical cartdrige I use CN installed as cia on my sysnand so I boot rxtools in sysnand mode (otherwise it won't start cause of signature checks) from the browser and then I can acces HL if I never need it.

Aaaaaand thats a lie! I own a o3ds and I bought CN for hombrew when ninjhax came out, and then used it to boot pasta and rxtools, but now I borrowed it to a friend that has a N3ds whose only way to boot ninjhax 1 is through CN and I currently use spider to boot rxtools although I could downgrade mset to not require internet conection (not a big deal since I use thethering 3g with my phone). So the only case that you need CN is the first time to boot ninjhax 1 on a n3ds, then you can downgrade mset and boot from there even on n3ds.

Also for using ninjhax 1 I have CN installed as cia on my sysnand so I boot rxtools in sysnand mode from the browser and then I can use ninjhax 1.1 if I never need it
n3DS users need Cubic Ninja to install CFWs and use emuNAND.
Please don't spread lies.
