Do not know if anyone brought this up yet but this good news for N3Ds users:

Sure, go ahead.I'm still on 4.2 because gateway hasn't been up to par with MSET yet!
Btw, mind if I put your infographic in the tutorial thread alongside @pakrett's?
I have 6.x MSET on my 9.2 O3DS. No issues at all.Hi guys,
If I have O3DS on 9.2, is there any difference between 4.X and 6.X MSET?
Is one more stable than the other? Which one should I use?
Thanks!
Stay on 9.2, you are luckyHi guys,

Not sure what you mean with Gateway not being up to par with MSET. And on the note of gateway, why bother if you have access to rxTools, NTR, pasta etc? I don't see any benefit to using one now that there's a few sig patched CFWs out. (I know NTR doesn't patch sigs but you can do that thing where you load pasta and then NTR.)
Oh yeah, I forgot about the lack of MSET for anyone but 4.x/N3DS. That's honestly kind of sad that they still haven't gotten that done. Thanks!
I'm referring to gateway not having MSET as an option for anyone but 4.x O3DS users and N3DS users. Also, I'd rather keep using my 32gb with the red card + another 32gb in the 3DS. However, if I do ever get a 64gb to use in the 3DS, then I'd most likely switch to rxTools , sell the Gateway, and use the 32gb's for other things
Well now, that's exciting! I'm going to stick with reiNAND, until rxTools irons out the kinks anyhow.Do not know if anyone brought this up yet but this good news for N3Ds users:

Unfortunately, I don't play that often, but when I do, I like to have it available without having to install/uninstall anything lol, kind of a bad habit I guess!Oh yeah, I forgot about the lack of MSET for anyone but 4.x/N3DS. That's honestly kind of sad that they still haven't gotten that done.
I just have a 32GB in my 3DS. When I beat a game I uninstall it. If I need room for more stuff I can just delete one of the cart backups and move the save back. As it is I still have 11GB~ free and that's with all of the "legit" games installed, essentially every homebrew for Ninjhax, the Ambassador GBA games, plus a bunch of eShop titles. (Smash, Shovel Knight, OoT3D, etc)
Yup, the issue they seems to be having is have a single source pool for both O3DS & N3DS:Well now, that's exciting! I'm going to stick with reiNAND, until rxTools irons out the kinks anyhow.
Yea, it'll work on 7.1 sysnand. With MSET, idk yet. Testing. And o3ds will still be supported. If latest rxtools doesent work in firmware 4.5 but works on 9.2 with 6x mset will it work on my 7.1 sysnand with 6x mset?

And when new rxtools comes out with new 3ds support, will there still be updates for old 3ds or will old 3ds be unsupported? please make more homebrew for old3ds too. its good that new3ds has homebrew but dont abandon old 3ds please
I doubt that O3Ds will stop getting support since it has and still is a top priority for the team.I doubt t

I don't play often either. I bought my 3DS specifically because it had Dream Team preinstalled and I'm still not done it. lolUnfortunately, I don't play that often, but when I do, I like to have it available without having to install/uninstall anything lol, kind of a bad habit I guess!
Oh don't forget, Gateway hasn't caught up with GBA and DSi support either hahaaa...
Don't use the latest yet. It's still very buggy. Is it safe to get the latest rxtools though? and can someone compile for me or do i have to try and compile it myself. is precompiled better or my own version. because i have precompiled beta 8 and it runs fine. does latest have new features?
Actually, latest commit fixed MSET. That's actually quite nice.I don't see any reason to update to the lastest commit if you just want to play games. If you have rxTools working then stick with it until an official release it out. There will be many bugs in the latest revision.
Still doesn't mean that other bugs aren't present. I don't see any reason to update an O3DS to it from "beta8".Actually, latest commit fixed MSET. That's actually quite nice.
