Is this a work in progress feature? Like after ds profile it will load up the emunand instead of the menu? I think I seen the MT launcher being modified so it loads the classic mode without the menu and without a gateway or mt card. I couldn't find the launcher for that one but only on youtube video.

English isn't Roxas' first language, so I think there's a bit of miscommunication. I don't think there are any plans to autoboot emuNAND, and honestly there isn't a big need for it anyway.
I seem to recall Gateway loading with the same 3D glitch on 4.x, and loading Gateway on my new3DS via OOT results in a similar glitch. I think it's just a side effect of the hax.
If the most of you think that boot directly in rxMode would be better, i'll add this in the next update.

Alright thanks. I agree that it is no big need for it as it is just a quick button press. But figured it would be nice as I assume most will be using rx mode more than the tools more often than not. But I could be wrong.
Put me in also for region free. My japanese games are collecting dust till gateway releases an update.

Wow I just posted a reply to another person. But yes please put my vote for directly booting rx mode.
Another topic is I see that some have said that region free is a goal of rx tools. But I only been reading this from other people here in this thread. Is this a plan of yours or is it not something that you want to do? Not a big deal as I trust gateway to release their update by summer so once that happens I can use my Japan games again.
Roxas has said before that he plans to add region free support.

Could Gateway 3DS be booted with downgraded MSET on a newer firmware version? Like could I downgrade MSET on firmware 9.2 and launch Gateway with it, or would the payload have to be adapted? It would be awesome to be able to have an offline exploit and 6.x save encryption for Gateway 3DS.

I think the majority of users are using rxTools for rxMode.
That's something you'd have to talk to Gateway about (good luck with that
). Only the entry point is shared, everything that happens behind the scenes after you tap DS Profile is different.I expect that Gateway will probably implement MSET downgrading/upgrading to 6.x on all models and (exploitable) system versions at some point in the near future.

I think it said all you have to do is install a .CIA of the old System Settings app, which is most definitely possible if you have a Gateway.
No. The app will be broken if you install an older one on sysnand (spoofed version) unless perhaps if you know how to delete the current one before installing a non-spoofed older one. I still haven't figured out how to do that myself...
Even then, it will give you the MSET vulnerability back, but that doesn't mean the offsets for the patches GW uses will be the same. It most likely will not work as it is now.
