You can do emuNAND to emuNAND transfer lol. Just do that.

Make a backup of the emuNAND of your Old 3ds, then system transfer while in emuNAND in BOTH consoles. Then apply the backup back onto the old3ds SD card.

EmuNAND can be on 9.5 no issues.

IRONFALL eshop not work on N3DS in emunand 9.5 work only in demo mode , on 3ds XL normal 4.5 emunand 9.5 it work full version ? strange

just buyed loz ocarina of time,i searched 4 hours for it,every store here at antwerpen.
backing up my nand of new 3ds now.
exploit is working fine,tested it already.
also exported emunand of my 3ds xl,so just import it to my N3ds sdcard and it doesnt have to be online.
but 3dsxl 4.5 hack is easyer,its just select profile and done,start gateway mode and your set,with this method is more work.
i just do this for testing,gonna use 3dsxl,waiting till they maybe find better hack.

Are there any downsides to having the same "everything" on both 3DSs. With playing local coop or sth like that?

I don't know tbh. Haven't tried it before. Honestly, I would just reinstall everything as cia since fake signed CIA files are allowed in emuNAND anyways. It's just a bit more complicated for some users lol.

Then how about you look for exploits on the New3DS and then make your own CFW with a rom loader for FREE.

Or buy games and support the developers to make more games. (Best option)

Okay, so I have an original US 3DS, AUS New 3DS. I have a US version of Zelda which I know will not work. If I find a PAL version of the game will I still be able to load that in my original US 3DS or would it require 2 3DS systems of the same region? Sorry, I have never tried a retail cart of another region so I wasnt sure if you can play a PAL retail cartridge in a US system with gateway (i know roms work but wasnt sure on retail carts).

Folks,

I am not sure what to do with the N3DS once I have first boot up with OOT. I ran the savegame and it brought me to the Gateway menu.
I have then done a backup of the system. Should I now format ? and then ?

yes format emunand...please note this will delete everything on your SD card...so back that up.

So this new method is like... The Twilight Hack for the Wii right? You have a zelda game with a hacked save file. The only difference is that you need a rare game that can not even work or a flashcard from another company, another device that will do magic with your saves, and a gateway card... no, it's not like the twilight hack...

But better this than nothing right? Do you have to run this every time you want to lunch gateway or emunand or do you just run this one time, install something and that's it? I'm confused.
