I don't know how the batteries are working.
When I'll have time I'll see joostin's Code.

You can do the test with any USB device (even an SD card connected to an USB Adapter to USBPort0).
but not everyone seems to have the recent memory issues. (maybe only users with looooot of games).
I have less than 100 so that's probably why I don't experience it.

But hopefully someone will test v12 and report :)
I'm almost certain it won't work, but I just want to be sure.

The only way I can really guess to try getting a corruption would be to copy as many wbfs games as I can to that 160 maybe because of all of the memory being used up it might have memory issues when a certain amount of games exist

there's already an option to enable/disable it in nintendont?
I thought it was force-used if found.

unless it's a simple "delete file from root" if disabled and "copy to root if enabled" which is not the way I want to implement it.

No option to disable it but from what I can guess that the bios files are being used for is GameCube peripherals probably for native mode.
Although it is used when present

edit:
I checked nintendont sources, there's no option to enable or disable it.
It's always loaded if found on game's partition root.
He was talking about Abdullah's Master Mod, it's not really an option to enable and disable the bios, he simply added an exception code to certain games.

the version you used is not official.
On the official version, there's no tabs.

on the official version, the 4th icon in the top menu lets you select the game's origin (Wii, NAND, EmuNAND, GameCube)

v12 results:
First boot, no text corruption, game total was off by 2
Second boot, same as first
Third boot, game total off by 1
Fourth boot, everything appears normal
Fifth boot, corrupt text, correct game count

Thank you.
I'll release it officially tomorrow then. I don't have time left today.

so, I'll just remove PS3 controller support for now.
I don't know if the issue is the PS3 support or an old memory issue conflicting with PS3. I would need more debug test to find the issue. I'll see with originalHamster (it code dumps, so I can find the issue).

So uh, is GX having some stability issues on vWii? A few days ago it froze while I was exploring the app.

And now, I have attempted twice to install a game to the USB drive, but the process froze halfway.

This does not happen when I launch the same version on regular Wii.

Loading a game from GX appears to work fine, although when I use the reset function I just get a black screen and have to cut the power.

Furthermore, it will only launch Game Cube games through Nintendont if the game is on the SD card, even though the Nintendont app can load from USB just fine.

Also, any settings I input in GX are not carried over to Nintendont, and as the game loads, the screen is suddenly forced into some weird poverty 3:4 where the screen is not only squished, but shrunk a bit. If it's going to be like that I'd rather keep it stretched out and then use my TV to squish it again.

I've been unable to keep up with what's been going on over the past two pages, so I'm not sure if any of these issues have been mentioned or fixed in any new build. But any kind of reply to these issues would be nice.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply but i don't understand what you mean, there is no bar at the bottom on my version

Before update i got this :

and now i have this :

Here is my version:

Sorry I misunderstood what you originally asked for, but yeah like Cyan said, the official version doesn't have tabs, I remember this unpofficial version, I forgot where I got it from but it's a feature that wasn't in the official, personally I just use the one in Cyan's signature which is the official, sorry if this doesn't help.

No problems detected with v12.
Just a little problem regarding Wii U pro controller; although it's an old one unrelated to this test, the pointer is slightly faster than the pointer with Wii classic controller pro, if you change the pointer speed it does affect both, so it should have the same speed in both controllers. For instances nunchuk pointer speed (when not pointing with Wiimote) is the same as the Wii classic controller pro.

your issue with nintendont is your own fault you installed it wrong, what ever device your games are on is the device nintendont should be on

I don't think it's fair to call it "my own fault". No one told me about this.

Really, getting on a guy's case for "being an idiot" really is no way to answer an honest question.

Also is this really true?

I'm not sure what Acidflare is going on about, Nintendont should work fine with games on a different device (at least through Usb GX, never really used the nintendont loader).

IIRC recent nintendont versions (v2.263 and up) have some incompatibilities with Usb GX. Cyan did release a version of GX (r1235) that worked with the newer versions of nintendont, but it apparently had some bugs so he took it down until it could be fixed (it looks like a fixed version should be up fairly soon).
