So I've been reading up on all these amazing widescreen hacks being hard coded, (my hard drive has been tied up in file transfer for the past week) and I finally thought I'd try it out. Using 2.223, playin some Melee. Playing on Corneria, and it looks...The same background texture missing outside 4:3 frame). Am I missing something?
I don't think any of FIX94's widescreen commit comments mentioned melee. Maybe he hasn't added it yet because the widescreen cheat codes are different between the three different versions of melee and it's hard to detect which one is loaded due to them all having the same game id? Here's a patch I wrote that only works for NTSC ver 1.02 [GALE01].
Have you tires RE0 with Native controls on? Maybe it's like the Chao Race in SADXDon't forget Army Men: Sarge's War. It's still one of the few games that hasn't been able to boot in any revision.

I wrote my patch for r219, haven't tested melee without it on the later revs so I guess I don't need it anymore.
Show me Corneria. On mine, the title screen, and Corneria both have textures missing outside the 4:3 frame.

You people take time from these devs lives that they will never get back because you want your endless requests that add nothing to the value of the game. So xyz controller, or game will be wide screen. What a shame.
We don't force the devs to do anything. We find problems and report them then the devs can choose to fix it or leave it alone. We (as testers) have no say of what the devs do

I know this I've been following the Project Since the beginning I've only just made an account on GBA Temp though all I was saying was we could ask a youtuber for them to try it for them or something. I know they are doing it for free it was just a suggestion.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
