EDIT: Just a little correction here - I have a Wii and it's a fun console, but it has but a handful of entertaining games and it was far, far behind the competition tech-wise. Sales-wise it wins the race, yay for Wii I suppose, but it's a shame that it didn't have contemporary specs and by proxy "missed" a lot of fun multiplatform releases.

Shipment =/= Sales, XBox 360 gets raped in Japan too, not even funny. I think you have to commit seppuku for owning one there.

63.7million XBox
60.5million PS3
93.6million Wii : Just because fanboys/girls of all consoles are here
And console sales don't mean one is better than the other. If you think the Xbox is superior to the PS3 or vice versa, you're kidding yourself. If you own both consoles, you should notice where one lacks, the other makes up for it.

An ideal situation is owning all consoles in a given generation as well as a relatively contemporary PC - that way you get the full spectrum, yes.
I have almost all the consoles, I must only buy the xbox360 and wii u to get a complete console collection.
