IMO the 3DS has even better graphics than wii or xbox 360 without HD.

You don't know what you're talking about do you?
At standard definition I mean. HD 1080p is clearly better though

you still don't know what you're talking about, also there are very few console games (furthermore on the 360) that output a resolution of 1080p

You don't know what you're talking about, the 3DS has WAY BETTER GRAPHICS THAN THE XBOX 360!

Look at this Resi 5 screenshot! It looks TERRIBLE compared to the 3DS versions of Resident Evil!

Er... no? PS3 games a lot are bluray disc format (1080p) and the 360 can upscale games up to 1080i/p quality if a HDMI cable is used.

The 3DS graphics to me are DS > wii > 360 at standard definition > ps3 at standard definition = 3DS > 360 at 1080i/p > ps3 at 1080i/p
If you disagree then it's okay cuz this is just my opinion.

lol what?

You do realize that many console games right now are sub HD, right? Like Call of Duty Black Ops, for both systems, are sub HD. And because they're bluray doesn't mean they're HD.

Graphically, I don't think it will be that much better than the PS2 version. Yes, I've seen this shitty comparison between fuzzy photo of the PS2 version and a sharp screenshot of the 3DS on-rails demo (no AI, no controls, nothing).
Either you have eye sight problems or I don't know, I'm sorry but the 3DS's looks much much better over the PS2 one.

THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A "3DS VERSION". They've quickly stitched together an on-rails demo, which was basically a cutscene rendered in realtime - with possibility to rotate your head, but completely non-interactive nonetheless. In the real game 3DS will have to perform tons of other tasks (for instance, control enemies' AI), which will effectively degrade the overall graphics level. Take Street Fighter, for example; in the cutscenes shown before the fight, there is plenty of modern effects - bloom filter, some simple DOF, even some antialiasing. None of these appear during the actual fight - why ? Most probably because 3DS would not be able to handle this (frame drops can already be experienced).

I do hope MGS3 comes for the 3DS. Be able to play it rather than buying a PS2 again...

Also, control wise, they can just do the same thing as PW. Use the control pad for camera angles(same as PW on PSP) then for DS feature use the touchscreen for inventory + other features.

Resolution matters aside, a 360 and PS3 are much more graphically capable than the 3DS and it's a bit ludicrous to claim otherwise.

That being said, the 3DS looks gorgeous and it's way more capable than I expected Nintendo to put into a handheld device. I'm ready to see some titles like Metal Gear on it.

lol just fucking lol, comparing cutscenes which probably aren't rendered by the system itself of other games to a real life rendered video which shows what the system is capable of. Ahh I guess you didn't watch the trailer video of MGS3D also, have you?. You know what on the topic of being stitched up demo, the developer himself said he could have made it even more better if they had more time! haha

And yes MGS3D HASN'T BEEN RELEASED YET so you can't go say 'Graphically, I don't think it will be that much better than the PS2 version.' How can you say that when the game hasn't been released and from the screenshots it edges over the PS2 version.

3DS can't handle what? I've played RE:M, the most advanced graphical game on the 3DS seen as of yet, no fucking framerate drops, smooth play. MGS3D is even visually worse to it. 3DS is certainly capable of handling a lot of tasks without any issues as RE has shown to me.

Okay graphics aside (and my talking trash or whatever ~ I don't really care cuz its just my nonsense opinion), MGS: SSE is only a 'naked sample' and it has NOT been confirmed to be out in the 3DS. although konami did confirm that a MGS game will be coming to the 3DS probably by this year or early next year (hope that they'll show it at e3), they didn't confirm that it will be a remake/port of MGS SSE.

That with 3D on right?

I didn't see how and why he doubting on the 3DS so much.

I mean I can see it crazy to compare to the ps3 or 360... I think...

It has been confirmed already. They've even said that since they can't change the history, They'd like to insert some new features like co-op, to make sure this is a remake and not a simple port.

With 3D on games are restricted to 30FPS and without it's 60FPS.

I know, 3DS doesn't even need to pack alot of power to show beautiful screens, it has a advanced GPU capable of displaying modern sharders and a lot more, the PS2 can't do that.

If you want an example, play SSFIV, go into practice, fiddle around for a bit, then exit>Game Settings> turn 3D off, go back into practice.

Mine=blown.

I tried SSFIV and even 3D (at 30 FPS) is mind-blowing.

I wonder how would RE: TM 3D, RE: Revelations and MGS: SE look like in 3D...

You did not understand. I compared the "Naked sample" to a cutscene because it is not interactive - just the same scene played back everytime. It is rendered in realtime, but all the vertices are alway at the same exact position in 3D space, there's no enemy AI, physics is most probably precalculated etc. That's why it could look better than the final game, which is the case when comparing the quality of graphics of pre-fight cutscenes in SSF4 vs. the actual fight.

"I think" means "I suppose", not "This will be this way". Also, these were screenshots from the "Naked sample", which cannot be considered a game - rather a tech demo.

I believe there's no hardware restriction forcing 3D mode to run at 30 FPS. It's rather that 3DS cannot handle rendering more complicated scenes @ 60 FPS for both eyes (twice the pixel count). I guess games with simpler graphics could run @ 60 FPS in 3D.
