Uhhhh...I Google'd like hell trying to find something, but no success, at all.

Yes it has been forever since I used the Wii.

I want to reset my Wii and start over with a clean system and go through HBC install all over again, my system is a mess. That's because the biggest problem is that I get an error often, even just sitting in the main channel screen. "The Wii system files are corrupted..." and so on.

I would do the reset via Settings, but I can't get in them at all, and if I go into Maintenance Mode I can merely get into the storage management, clicking on settings gives me a black screen for a few seconds and then the usual error. I was able to get into it before with similar problems but the reset just sat there for the whole day doing nothing. (Okay maybe like two or three hours, but it seemed like it was doing nothing, I guess it was my fault. xP

====IMPORTANT PART====

(Yeah I blabbed on, that stuff's just info about the situation.) I need to reset my Wii to factory, so I can start over without the constant error, if there's an application for it or some way to do it, once I pull off some /important/ save games.

EDIT: It's not a semi-brick of course, it doesn't give the Opera error, just certain parts don't work, and the data management only works in Maintenance Mode.

EDIT2: The Wii goes into a state of semi-corruption once I copy a single save file and it won't let me copy anymore and once I try to go back to the System Menu it corrupts. Turning it back on works to copy another single file.

EDIT3: If there's no possibility of resetting, I want to be able to edit the internet settings, as they were deleted during the reset. I need to be able to connect to the internet with it at least. ._.

EDIT4: And maybe edit the other settings... >_> Like the sensor bar position, can't position it able TV and rather not have to aim down to play... :l

EDIT5: ATM, I just want to be able to connect to the internet but not being able to get to the settings menu limits that, so screw the reset, that's all I want. >_> (And fix the date/time, it was 12/31/06 just a while ago. P: It had old Wii Sports test results mail~ (Got the Wii 12/25/06, X-mas))

1)AnyTitle Deleter DB

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links to other wii hacking sites but one of them has a nice tutorial.

Hope this helps

    I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
