Nice. Looks like the same kind of cheating searching and making I did on Snes9x a few years back.

why do i want a ram dump? it might not be practical for most of the users
but it could be handy for us to make pointer/ASM codes
some game just refuse to work on emulators
i think all hackers love hex view
thats how i get many things done without conducting the actual search
9th_Sage,
Yeah.. just a little more
As far as I know, the DS has 4 MB of ram.doyama said:elixirdream said:doyama,

I didn't realize some games did not work with current emulation tools. In that scenario then dumping the memory would be valuable.
Thinking now, I don't really recall how much memory the NDS actually has. I had somewhat incorrectly thought it was going to dump whatever the ROM size was into memory, but that doesn't makes sense when I really think about it. Thus the whole 'utility' aspect of waiting for 256MB to write to the SD card 'hopefully' at some kind of speed that isn't slower than gnomes moving the bits around manually, probably doesn't come into play.
Like I said, if the code actually affects anything on a client other than yours then the game's not programmed that well, but the team may disable it when wi-fi's active just in case.squirrelman10 said:it looked confusing to me, why dont those cheats have names to them instead of numbersAny codes using names and button input sequences and shit within the game are codes built-in by the programmers. This stuff, as well as cheats you can use on a flash cart, are not built-in. It's actual hacking. That's why it's such a big difference, that's why things aren't conveniently named for your viewing pleasure, and that's why it looks confusing.
but will the free cheat mode allow us to make code while connected to wifi?Gunmaster51 said:Looks nice. I regret not preordering this when it was so cheap on ShoptempStill, its current price doesn't look too bad either if it can do everything they say it does.Yeah.+
If simply locking a value on one client's end affects everybody else as well, then that's not a very well programmed game. Though that does bring up a good point, with this we should be able to get data from online play, whereas emulators can't get online right now...Gamer4life said:And now n00bs will be able to create infinite health and ammo codes for online play
