I dont know if this has been mentioned or not but I was having trouble getting this to work.
My prob was.
I would enter the dns into the ds and then go to GTS and nothing would happen, it would log in normally and the sendpkm.py would just sit there waiting to send.
Finally I changed my settings on connection 1 to the dns it gave me and presto, it worked.
I left connection 1 alone because I thought if I set up connection 2 or 3 it would use which ever I selected.
Guess not.
Just glad its working and hope this helps someone else.

For some reason, I can't get it to work. I tried all the things you said in the FAQ, but to no success.

I grab my .pkm file over the sendpkm.py, it says "Encoding! Please set your DS's DNS server to 192.168.0.15", so I do this on my DS, but I still get an error 52100.

My router doesn't have security settings that could block it. I would have tried the other option, that is "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection", but the tab on which it is located is not present on my computer.

Is there anything else I can try?

EDIT: I managed to get it to work, I just had to disable Windows Firewall, and it worked great.

Don't know if it is off-topic, but is there a way to send a pkm file FROM the game TO the computer?
Trade it to someone playing on a flashcart, let them make a dump of it, and trade back.

So I tried again today. I managed to get a Scizor through on connection 1 before it went all 00000 on me. I'm using the recommended DNS, which is apparently also my IP address. Help?

All I know is that avast didn't even need to be OFF in the first place, for Windows Firewall, you'll have to set it to ignore/allow that app
In Windows 7, you can put this in any Explorer window with an address bar, and either check for the app in the list, or add it:

Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed Programs

Allow it on BOTH Private AND Public networks, just to be sure. And I'm pretty sure it's Python that needs to be allowed, too.

Is there a way to do this WITHOUT disconnecting and reconnecting to the GTS every time we send a PKM file over?
No. That's how the game itself works, you can't receive more than one pokemon at a time because you can only have one active trade waiting at a time.

Well, it does not work for me..

The program says to set the dns to 127.0.0.1, but the DS does not accept this dns. The port is open, and i changed the dns to the IP my computer has.

Any idea?

Cool application. By the way, don't you think there should be a similar application to send Wonder Card files via wi-fi from your computer, as well? Just a suggestion.

Of corse there should be such an app, but as no one cracked how wondercarts are sent via WiFi, there is no way (at the moment) to do it.

I'm using Windows 7 x64 and I have a Windows XP SP3 install via Windows Virtual PC (XP Mode), and I'm using the WiFi connector.

For the step where you need to change the DNS on the computer, any idea where I would do it? I currently use a Wired connection, although I can connect to a WPA2 connection via my wireless router.

Is it possible to do the opposite ? Receive pokémons from the retail game ?
That's what I would like to do as I have the real game but I'm selling it. I'd like to get my pokémons from it before.
