what doesn't work? please be specific. are you getting freezes after some number of events?
also, which file did you put on the card after patching?
It hangs after my character shrinks. I put the .nds file on the card.

I got it to work via a tutorial on this website. I don't remember what section it's in.
It has frozen for me after around 40 minutes, usual black screens and the music still playing in the background. After a reset and trying to load the save i got two black screens. Did reset once more and it was fine after it. Using the V2 patch, obviously. The CRC of the patched rom was 07B516F8 and the MD5 was 2f62ba09870544ae1fe776acc3679e96.

Pardon if this has already ben asked/answered, as I do not have much time before I have to go out for the day, but does this patch fix the random freezing, or would I be better off just keeping it unpatched on my iTouchDS?

No$GBA works with the AR code OR if you set Startup Entrypoint to GBA BIOS (Nintendo Logo).
