Although i won't be playing your patch, since i'm just going to wait for the English version to be released here in the states, i applaud your effort. It looks great.

I knew that, but I think you overread my question: I wasn't asking what his total project will accomplish, but rather what the next installment will bring (i sounded a little to professional. lol)

In other words, what will the next patch be up to; Cianwood's Gym (Chuck) or Olivine's Gym (Jasmine)???

Beta 4 has already been released, look in the first post of this thread for a download link.

Edit: Beta 5 will hopefully not be the last, but... it looks like it will be for now.

By the looks of it, beta 5 will be the last, because a couple of months afre it's released, the real game will be out.
What will be interesting to do though, would be compare the two versions and see which one sounds better

First time ive been in this thread i THINK, but i decided to swap translations and come to this one finally lol, I heard its now stopped? which is a shame, it seems quite good, other than the fact i dont like the capitalised names etc, but i guess its like proper style, i like it though, thanks

Hey there,

So let me get this straight,
Watarukun's final patch is going to be a beta 5.
Beta 5 will not be up to the next town in this case Olivine or Cianwood, it will be up to where you beat the elite 4.
It will not be released until late December or January? correct?

Correct me if i'm wrong
By the way can someone tell me where to watch the Magnius patch and also can someone tell me how to activate the cheats in SoulSilver after you patch it?

Ok, I apologize if this has been answered but I really can't shift through 232 pages lol. So when you apply the patch, I know it said it will take awhile, but is there a progress bar or something? Since when I click apply it freezes for a sec, but does nothing beyond that even after 2 hours..so I'm not sure if it even works..

What's the usual apply time? Again I apologize if this has been answered, I am bi-lingual but I'm sorry if my English isn't the best either >

Not completely but No$Gba + No$launcher3 will.

hey WataruKun your soul silver patches are the best,there not like some lame patches out there.dont listen to these losers dont stop making your patches because of them you are great man.keep up the awsome work dude.dont take this the wrong way but PLEASE!! DON'T STOP MAKING PATCHES WHEN YOUR DONE WITH THE ELITE FOUR!!!! I know its your choice to stop whenever you want but your doing a really great job on this man.thank you very much im actually excited to have soul silver in english up to the elite four before the actual north american version comes out.you dont know how much i appreciate it.i have this thread bookmarked and i check it every day im not joking i check it every day to see if a new patch is released.thanks.

I got no$launcher 3 and used it,but the game still freezes when i save,does it matter that I am using No$Zoomer?

Nope..I'm using none of those and it never crashed (at least the original Japanese rom), however my friend said he isn't getting any crashes either just running no$gba with the patched rom.

It could be your emulation settings.

I've searched, but I couldn't find Magnius' HeartGold translation

Could someone please give me the link?

Edit: It seems that the patch is for both SS and HG, but on the v2 topic they say that HG is only at V3.1, but I can't find this version ...!?
Edit2: Is it normal that I can see no progress at all when it's supposed to be patching? :confused:

Sorry to burst your bubble, but he's stopping after the Elite 4 simply because the US port will be out within a couple of months, so he isn't actually using his time wisely by continuing with the patch any more than that. Maginus is, however, taking part in the Blood of Bahamut translation, which will never be coming to the English speaking countries, so his time will be well spent.
