Well I've problems to patch the rom too...
I know what I have to do to Patch a Rom but when I "apply patch" in the xDelta Gui... It does not happen nothing.
I will try with the another mirror but is the same patch so...

@Lukasmo: get the original rom with the original name (xpa-phg.nds) then us rudolphs patch

@alidsl: When I pulsate the "apply patch" button (with another patchs) the window get freeze for 4 or 5 secs and then... a new rom file has been created. But when I try with this Patch, not responding at all :s

But I really wanted to say is: Thanks man, for the patch. I only started the game but I'm enjoying this so much better already then that stupid Japanese. Keep up the good work! You've got my support until the end!
BTW: I had no problem patching the game, just copied everything to "new map". Put a clean rom in the same map. Clicked on the xdeltaGUI. Set everything good. Clicked on apply patch and finally there it was my newly patched rom in the directory. around 121mb. It looked like it didnt do anything, but it did so just check the directory where you've put the stuff!

Note: Tutorial is also for Heart Gold. Just Use follow instruction, but instead of Soul Silver use "Heart Gold".

1) Go to the first Page and Download the Latest "Patch" :
PAGE ONE (PATCH LOCATION)
2) Open the .RAR file with "WinRAR" and extract all it's content into a "New Folder" folder.
3) Make sure the following is in the "New Folder" folder :
4) Double-Click "xDelta GUI.exe" to run it.
5) The GUI should open/load up looking like this:
The GUI should be self explanatory.
6) Click the [ Select Patch ] button and choose the patch file, "PokemonSoulSilverEnglish"
7) Then Click the [ Select ROM ] button and choose the ROM file, "Pokemon Soul Silver (J).nds"
8) Now Click [ Apply patch ] and wait for few seconds for the ROM to patch....
9) Go back to your "New Folder" folder and you should see "Pokemon Soul Silver (J)_patched.nds"
10) The file is shorten to (124,818 KB) b/c it was trimmed. Also it is patched with "Anti-Piracy" to stop the freezing. Enjoy!

I do exactly these steps and i get nothing.
When i click apply patch there isnt any new file in the same folder.
The rom and the patch are at the same folder as the GUI and the xdelta.exe...
Can you tell me what hte heck I am doing wrong???
