with many different options for each iso (which partition is included or not) I doubt " intengrity checking " is possible.. Also why ciso if it already has rar support! it will not be compressed on the wbfs partition so there is no point!

Sometimes the "bootstrapper" (the small 2.5MB package) won't work. Get the big puppy:

Code:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

This link is right from Microsoft's site. It's the same thing, but there in case the bootstapper doesn't work.

BTW, can somebody mirror WBFS Manager 3.0? I can't get the link on the first post to work.

Edit: Never mind, site works for me now. But I'll offer a mirror anyways of the x86 version.

CODEhttp://www.mediafire.com/file/mjqdzmjixid/WBFSManager3.0-RTW-x86.zip

well thanks but at least for me this won't do the trick

First, RARing/unRARing is SLOW. cISO gives you the game in a nice, small Scrubbed/Brickblocked package, and it adds/extracts quickly to/from the drive. In fact what i do is add a 4.3gb ISO to the drive, then extract the cISO back to a drive on my computer to have a backup. It'd be nice if Alex's WBFS Manager did that, like WBFS Intelligent GUI v5 does. The RAR feature of WBFS manager is JUSt to extract ISOs from downloaded archives, not for storing them. And maybe you enjoy having 40+ RAR files for each game, but I don't. I'd rather have 1 extracted, compressed ISO file, and not have to extract them everytime I want to readd the game.

Second, integrity checking is for the games already on the WBFS drive, not the ISO images to be added. It makes sure there are no crosslinked files. And I beg your pardon, but it is VERY possible to create an integrity checker for JUST the game partition of any ISO, whether they be scrubbed, brickblocked or friid. Doesn't matter.

Lastly, the games on a WBFS partition ARE in fact compressed in a way. They are stripped down of all unnecessary data. That is why some games are as small as 200 megs on WBFS.

This is an awesome WBFS tool. The software looks very professional and I am going to use this one all the way!

I'm having a problem with the created channels. I use the WiiCrazy method, have my key set, and my base wad, using everyone votes channel. It says wad is created ok, it installs fine, and even shows up correctly. However, when I click start, it just goes to a black screen. Am I missing something?

@ZombiePosessor: Not sure what might be going wrong there... have you tried using a different base WAD?
@icpmattj: Adding scrubbed games is not supported (unless they were extracted from a WBFS partition).
@tripellex and others: While the features you've mentioned would be great, I don't plan on doing any new versions with any new features, fixes are the only thing that will be done at this point. Thanks anyway for the feedback.
A fixed version has been posted on CodePlex (WBFS Manger 3.0.1) which addresses the following issues:
  • Added additional checks for temp folder, to avoid crashes that were occurring when the program was closing. (All those who had issues with the program crashing when exiting should download this update).
  • Added remaining Chinese (Traditional) translations.
  • Automatically generates a default filename for extracting single ISO files.
  • Fixed a minor bug with the installer showing 64-bit instead of 32-bit.

No, a new installation system is being used for 3.0/3.0.1
You'll need to uninstall 2.5 first, from the Control Panel (Programs and Features in Vista/7, Add/Remove Programs in XP)

3.0 working like a charm on windows xp, installed a bunch of games yesterday without any problems at all. Thanks for a great app!

A feature suggestion if you decide to continue the development; it would be nice if it was possible to dump wii discs to the hdd. Couldn't dump my backup discs to the hdd with USBLoader, guess it has something to do with either burn quality since the wii dvd reader is quite picky, or maybe my discs being brickblocked.
Solved the problem by making isos of the backup discs using imgburn, then writing the isos to the hdd with WBFS manager, but still, it would be a lot more convenient if you could skip that imgburn step.

I've added and played scrubbed games no problem using the 3.0 wbfs manager.

Can you tell me how they are not supported?

Also im downloading the new 3.01 or whatever it is.I will let you know if i get code dumps again.

Awesome utility! Thanks!

I just wish there were a way around the pesky 500 game table size limitation with WBFS. It's probably not
possible to use a full 1TB - I've tried with multiple drives up to 1.5TB and bleah! Once you reach 500 games
that's pretty much it (using "Only Game Partition") - on a 1TB drive that leaves me almost 80gigs left.

If I try to add from DOS I get: "no space left on device (table full): No error"

Does anyone have a workaround to this problem? I can't be the only one with over 500 games to put on one drive lol.
Perhaps I'm doing something incorrectly while formatting? Perhaps some trick I can do with partitioning? I'm way open
to suggestions - storing full ISOs... well only 319 fit on a 1.5TB drive...

Oh! There is a bug with WBFS Manager 3.01 I reported on the main site - but you'll only see it if you try to add more
than 500 games - it will tell you the game added alright but it didn't really. Is a tiny bug, really... Also it tends to drop
games when dragging them to the WBFS window in the hundreds - it takes a few tries for them all to take... and I would
pay money to be able to minimize WBFS manager while it's doing its batch.

Thanks again! Stellar utility!

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
