I’m wondering how I install mods for stray on the switch, the mod files such as custom cat skins are PK files and usually go in the mod folder on pc, I’m wondering how I would install the custom cat skin pack on a modded switch?

if they're compatible, you would need to compare the folder directory structure of the pc version to the switch version and set up a layeredfs folder for atmosphere to load the mods

Is there a guide on how to do that? Or to view the file layout
nxdumptool is a good piece of homebrew for viewing folder/file structure on Switch, and then for PC you'd have to just look at your installation or refer to some sort of installation guide for PC mods and see if it lines up with the Switch version.

It looks like it uses unreal engine so you can probably just do SDROOT\atmosphere\contents\010075101EF84000\romfs\*whatever stray's project name is here*\Content\Paks\~mods and put .pak files there, and if not just do \Content\Paks folder and try that. Again, PC mods aren't always immediately compatible so they may just straight up not work and need to be remade for Switch, but YMMV
