Yeah ps1 using a crt tv and cds right. Psp isnt emulated perfectly on gpu ( the gpu is emulated cuz showing psp games with ps vita resolution using fucking gpu was too hard better make the worst console ( im sorry Its fucking slow, no exclusive, crappy emulation, at least n3ds can natively play 3 consoles and got no goasses 3D effect, ps vita got remote connection with ps4 but lacks triggers and good enough wifi, well ps4 lacks good wifi too). Got n3ds, psvita, ps4, switch, call me fanboy, no, check that, call me master.

Well if you use it in a Vita it can run PSP DLC, something Adrenaline doesn't in some games.
To be fair this isn't an ARK-4 thing, it's a "side effect" of using NoPspEmuDrm to run ARK-4 without requiring a PSN account and a legit game.

If you were to use ARK-4 under adrenaline or official firmware (i.e. ChovySign) you'd be having about the same issues and will need a combination of npdrm_free_mod and nploader_mod, which not a lot of people know how to set up properly (myself included).

I'm very good friends with Li (SilicaAndPina) so all her tools work really well when mixed with ARK (some of them have been made tailored for ARK).

I forgot to say I installed ARK-4, then Infinity and finally made a full flash install so that I can boot ARK-4 without a Memory Stick/microSD card inserted on the PSP (or with a different one). Sometimes (it's rare), this PSP still goes black when playing PSP ISOs and I have no choice but to turn it off (and I still have to take the battery to do it since if exiting the PSP ISOs using the PS button, the PSP still freezes). This also happened with PRO-C and other PSPs.

Also, if taking the battery after the PSP's power LED starts to blink (meaning low battery) and putting it back, the PSP still runs out of battery for good many times, so I still have to charge it. This also happened with PRO-C and other PSPs.

EDIT: What's the difference between cIPL and Infinity? May the former fix the PSP going black when the same CFW is installed and when I had that issue with other PSPs with other CFWs installed? My current PSP has problems with all the batteries I tried and so I got rid of them. How can I install OFW (using Chronoswitch) to get rid of ARK-4 and Infinity (before installing ARK-4 with cIPL) without a battery, then? It says the battery is low when I just charged my Ostent external battery to 100% before trying to install OFW or if I use the PSP's power supply.

The main difference between cIPL and Infinity is that cIPL basically exploits the system at the earliest possible, so it's technically a superior hack, and Infinity has been made obsolete (both by its original author as well as myself with ARK, it'll still work, but it won't be getting any updates or fixes). For the end user this means like 1 or 2 seconds faster boot with cIPL, and in the case of New cIPL the ability to run DC without a pandora/sweeper.

Is it possible to install OFW without a battery? Will cIPL get new releases? Also, ARK-4's GitHub repo says DC can only be ran with a pandora battery or baryon sweeper.

Yeah the wiki is hard to maintain and keep updated with so much information. I don't think cIPL will receive any updates but that's mostly because it's pretty much finished and there hasn't been any bug report with it for a while.
Best way to go back to OFW is using Chronoswitch, it lets you reinstall OFW from scratch like a factory reset.

How? When using Chronoswitch to load OFW, it always says the battery is low. Also, I'm tired of ordering batteries. None of them work. Could the PSP be the culprit here and not the batteries?

I think there's a plugin to spoof the battery so you can use the updater.

Already tried. Didn't work. The thing is, I guess I always need a battery when I don't even have one inserted.

When a commit is released on GitHub (regardless if it's for ARK-4 or not), should the program be downloaded even if a new version isn't out (provided the commit is not related to the GitHub repo text)?
