Okay so this might sound complicated but I will try to explain my dilemma.

I am trying to play Simpsons Hit and Run Switch Port on my Nintendo Switch.

It is by default an .nro application. However, the application needs to be launched in NON-APPLET MODE (Hold R when launching a game).

I created an NSP Forwarder for this .NRO and used DBI to install it.

The issue I am experiencing is that when launching the game I am almost certain it launches in APPLET MODE which makes the screen go black/does not function.

My question is, is there a way to run a .NSP Forwarder(.nro original application) in NON-APPLET MODE so it just launches from the Switch Home screen?

Thanks!

Forwaders always run in non applet mode, so it's a different issue
Do you have any idea what it could be? Everything is initialized as intended? It does launch just fine without the forwarder through the HB Menu.

Forum etiquette. State what you did to fix it and/or how you messed up, so that someone finding this thread in a search can actually find the answer.
RIGHT so I BELIEVE the fix was modifying the name of the folder from Simpsons The - Hit and Run (Switch Port) to simply Simpsons. Then I recreated the switch forwarder and it worked?
