They should have been trickling these out years ago, to keep us fed with Metroid games until Prime 4 came out. But instead we got a remake of Metroid II on 3DS, Dread for Switch, and a Prime 1 remaster. So while we're not exactly starved, we're not exactly eating good either.

Honestly, since the Switch has just been a port machine, we could use more 360/PS3/PS4 ports of third-party AAA games.

the switch 2 will not be mentioned + metroid prime 4 will be on switch 1 and 2 = no mention of metroid prime 4 in this direct

We're eating very little but very good. But I'm nitpicking, I just have trouble saying to myself we're not eating good with Dread and Prime 1 HD, especially considering the decade we just went lol

I don't really understand why they wouldn't announce MP2/3 remasters if they really have them in stores

I think they're going to show more NES tournament stuff.

We need a SNES Remix and N64 Remix.
Bet that will ever happen.

For some reason I have a bad feeling about this Direct, but we'll see.
The Switch is really the end.

Here are my predictions:

-Metroid prime 2 HD
-Zelda oracle of time/seasons remake (two games? one? THREE)
-Ports
-Indie
-DLC
-new games coming to n64 for switch online

Haven't heard anything about pokemon in awhile, so maybe some pokemon announcement, like updates or DLC or something.

I quite hope any gamecube HD games are saved for the new hardware. I'd prefer 60fps for those, at the least.

I'm not gonna make any real predictions. We have no idea what Nintendo's got in store. While over half the direct will probably be indies, a 40 minute run time means there could be some banger first party titles in there.

If I had to make a prediction, we could get a Zelda remaster announcement, now that TOTK isn't taking up all their resources. There might be a Splatfest announcement or something, or just a teaser for Final Fest. Idk what the Mario team is doing right now so we might get something related to that (though I think they just finished the Mario vs Donkey Kong game, so that might be too soon for an announcement). While I know it won't happen... some more news regarding Pokemon Z to A would be nice, though Pokemon has their own directs they do stuff in, and according to the current track record, we won't get one until August.

Past that, I have no idea.
