OK, that’s perfect. You determined the size of the partition when you did the following step:I have V1 Switch, Unpatched Erista unit. Any idea why the emuNAND taking up larger space than usual? I followed THIS GUIDE to the letter, and somehow my emuNAND is different than others. I'm asking this because i did read somewhere that emuNAND takes up around the same size of Switch Internal Storage, so around 30gb like you said.
And i encountered a rather confusing issue after setting up the emuNAND. My switch now depletes the battery faster than usual. The battery goes down from 100% to 0% in the span of 18 hours, even though it's complete shutdown (turned it off in hekate menu). I'm sure it's not the joycon draining the battery, because both are fully charged before i turned off my Switch. I checked the battery info using hekate, and the battery seems okay (still has around 90% capacity). This has happened twice. This is so strange, never happened before. Thanks in advance!
- To create a partition-based Emunand:
- Move the emuMMC (RAW) slider until it says 29 full, then press Next Step and finally press Start.
The battery drain thing is kinda normal for switch. There are no changes made to the Operating System when you hack your switch. You can search the forums for complaints about it. It has nothing to do with emunand (literally just something residing on a file system that’s only instantiated during the boot process.) Purely coincidental.
