I don't want to tell you things I'm not sure about since I'm new to the ps4 hack scene and it's the first time I jailbreak my PS4 so I never have a backup file

What is the md5 of your remote package installer pkg?
It should be A7F7DB43AA1800704D89C43C15A0D9DE
you can check yours here: http://onlinemd5.com/

I'm on 7.55 and all the pkgs I have installed have been with remote package installer and it has worked fine every time.
Another reason for the problem could be with mira for 7.51 but I cant check that because I'm on 7.55.

The file is good imo, maybe it's the firmware itself. Do you think I should update from 7.51 to 7.55?

So I update in 7.55 but it still crashes, is it because of the "payload"? Hakkuraifu, Night King and Wolfgames made pkg remote installer crashed too :/

Try a different sender. The java version of pkg sender crashes my remote package installer too, not sure what happened. The one made by modded warfare works for me (package sender 1.2), try that one.

I use hashtab to check md5:

So as far as I can tell, installing backup games on 7.5+ isn't working. So what's the point of installing any PKG except maybe emulators and some apps?

Backup games install and play just fine on 7.55. (and probably on 7.50 & 7.51 too but I cant personally confirm this as I'm on 7.55)
Guide says " If you have a PS4 above 6.72 FW you are out of luck for now...." so it means that you can't mod PS on 7.5? Makes no sense...
Some of the text has not been updated yet in the guide, thats all. @KiiWii ;)

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
