No as the vWii has the same resources that the Wii had.it probably wouldn't make a difference that this is on the vWii on the Wii U, I'm assuming

The only reason we have access to the GamePad is because Nintendo made Wii games part of the VC stuff and we are just using that to access Nintendont since it's a Wii app. Before that we had no GamePad accessit's so fascinating to me (as someone nearly entirely clueless) where the barriers are - with the forwarder I have I can use the gamepad to run nintendont, but the other assets of the U are just completely inaccessible.
If I wanted to get into designing or modifying software like Nintendont, where would I want to start?
My fork fixes the same thing.

This only affects HID controllers and BBA support is confirmed to work.
Those changes were introduced with the Keyboard changes and are not related to BBA.
nope ,vwii has the same free memory as a real wii, nintendont doesnt run in wiiu mode.it probably wouldn't make a difference that this is on the vWii on the Wii U, I'm assuming
are your sd cards unlocked? check the side slide thing to make sure, then take a picture of your nintendont settings.Game : Viewtiful Joe (also tried with Super Mario Sunshine and F Zero GX)
Describe Issue : Using an injected forwarder the game loads fine when emulated memory card is not selected however it crashed when trying to use emulated memory card. Separately, when not using forwarder and trying to go through the vWii app for Nintendont it does not recognise the games on my sd card even when the layout of sd/games/gamename/game.iso is used.
Region :
Wii/Wii U : Wii U
Nintendont revision : Current
Last known working revision (if any) : NA
Loader used (if any) with revision no. : NA
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD : SD
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD make, model, size, format & cluster size : Sandisk, tried a 8gb cat 4, 32 gb cat 10, 128gb cat 10. All fat 32, all 32k
ISO 1:1/compressed : 1:1 all are EUR 1.425 gb
McEmu/Real Mem card and size : McEmu causing the issue
Native on/off : Tried both on TV/gamepad
Controller used if Native off : Gamepad worked when not using McEMU on injected forwarder
Composite/Component/HDMI: HDMI
Anything else you want to explain: I hacked my WiiU (andvWii) years ago and left it until coming back to it recently, concerned previous intallations may be the issue as I've followed guides on this to a T. Not sure if my IOS or cIOS would cause the issue here if they're not set up correctly.
so you are using solo injects instead of nintendont alone correct? also do you have anything connected to your wiiu usb ports? Thanks for the quick response. All sd cards unlocked I've got screens showing how the sd folders are set up. The nincfg.bin I've had to generate from TeconMoons injector as I've not been able to launch anything from Nintendont itself and all through the VC forwarder for each game.

you got a settings fine on the root of the sd card? ninconfig, bin?Hi so I injected Animal Crossing (GC), Mario Sunshine(GC), Pokemon XD (GC) with USB Helper, I put the nintendont files on my SD. Proceded to install the games with Wupinstaller GX2 and when I launch them I get black screen. I have to unplug the console to restart. I tried 3 games and none worked
Solo injects are the only way I've got them to run. The Wii U forwarder for Nintendont doesn't see the games to the SD. The only thing attached to USB (top rear port) is my powered seagate harddrive where the injects are installed and run from but without the mcemu
the usb acess is not possible in virtual inject mode since the wiiu nand or wiiu formatted hdd take over the usb acess for them, are your sd cards actual sd cards or micro sd cards using an sd adapter? it might be the adapters that are crap and you need a new adapter.Right so I've investigated further, it appears the issue I am having is that my Wii U does not want to write any information to any of the 4 SD Cards I have tried to use. Not sure if this is a bug, an incompatibility issue or the sd drive is just knackered.
The workaround I've got is using a FAT32 USB stick (separate from the Wii U formatted harddrive that my Wii U and Wii games are stored on) that has Nintendont loaded on and the games loaded. I have to go through vWii Homebrew Channel, load Nintendont and then USB. I have to eject the SD card first so that the homebrew channel loads the USB.
It also helped me figure out how to update CIOS to ver 10 (previously I could only see ver 6 when using the SD) as I used the same USB method for the dx2installer files and they worked a charm.
The above means I can't use forwarders unless some clever sod knows how I can force the forwarder (and the forwarder version of Nintendont) to use the USB stick for saves rather than the SD. It would also be great to know a workaround for the Wii U (when in Wii U mode) not liking have 2 USB devices installed prompting a reset.

and i assume all of them are on the unlocked position, if so it means maybe wiiu sd card slot is damaged and can only read from it which is a shame, any other app besides nintendont can write to it? like running an emulator any of them to see if they can create saves?Reply appreciated
All genuine SD cards, SDHC (and one SDXC), tried 3 sandisks and 1 toshiba. I'm going to get some compressed air and have a go at gently clearing the slot in case it's just a dust issue as it's not been used for a while until the last week or so.

That's a common issue with Nintendont in Wii VC injects.Hi so I injected Animal Crossing (GC), Mario Sunshine(GC), Pokemon XD (GC) with USB Helper, I put the nintendont files on my SD. classic controller doesnt rumble, unless you mean the attached wiimote rumbles, which sucks imo, i usually just use wiiu pro or straight up gc controllers which have rumble in them, the classic controller is just when i need multiplayer for 4 people lol.Do you people play with rumble turned on when using a CC?
I think it´s a great feature and another Ninden didn´t do even though it would have been easy to implement.
