If it works, you can use that, but the Luma3DS updaters are often unreliable. You can manually download the latest Luma3DS and put the boot.firm and the boot.3dsx onto the root of your SD card.

Still get the same error

Hold Select while booting the system. Is it on Luma3DS v10.2? In the system settings, is the 3DS on 11.13?

I'm going to update from a normal N3DS to a N3DS XL and I'd like to do so without having to install 150gb of things again.
Last time I updates from o3ds to n3ds a couple years ago and it took me weeks to restore games and saves, so this time, I'd like to do it better.

Is this the right way to proceed?

1. update new system to latest firmware
2. use Flashcard with NTRboot to hack new system and install luma
3. Transfer data from old system to new system like you'd usually do
4. move over MicroSD card from old system to new system
5. use faketik homebrew (https://github.com/ihaveamac/faketik) to make games and homebrew reappear without having to reinstall everything
6. hand down old system to brother

Any idea why themes won’t save? I can set them fine but when I power off or even go into settings and come back to Menu the theme is gone. Even changing colors in regular menu doesn’t save.

Do B9S and/or Luma3DS affect booting speed? I modded my 3DS when I booted it for the first time so I never had a chance to compare.

If you don't use any splash screen on boot, I would say that difference is less than 1 second (and perharps I'm exaggerating).

In practice, difference is almost imperceptible

Hi experts

Im looking to add cfw to my old 3ds which is running official firmware 11.13.0-45E. Im following the 3ds.hacks.guide website. One thing im insure of though is, should i be going down the seedminer route or Homebrew Launcher soundhax. Cause the former says firmware 9.0 to 11.3 which my firmware falls within but then seedminer specifically states firmwares 11.12 to 11.13, mine being 11.13.0. Please confirm and thank you in advance.

11.13 is different to 11.3

Then, SoundHax method is not avalaible for you. Try with Seedminer

Hi, So currently im trying to extract files from romfs, but everytime I try i get two png files instead stating "If you are seeing this, Luma3DS is not configured to load the homebrew launcher." There are steps that follow, but i have done these steps several times now and still keep getting the same png files extracted. Can anyone help me out? Thank you in advanced!

Hi. Is there any workable method for moving emuNAND with b9s and newest luma into new SD? In my case from old Transcend 64 GB into new 128 GB SanDisk.
And to be clear, i'm trying older methods descriped on forum years ago.
1) making SD image, instaling it on bigger and expand partition - image is corupted from start (3ds won't start) and any partitioning tool refuse to expand FAT32 partition with emuNAND image
2) emuNAND9 tool - not working anymore with new luma and Hombrew Launcher.
So is there any method that works?

In the 3ds guide. There is a section on moving emunand to your sysnand. You would want to follow that and then proceed with moving the contents to the new sd card.

But I not want to change my emuNAND setup for sysNAND. I have very convenient setup, and storing sysNAND in clean state (only b9s) is very comfortable option for switching in the future (I have very biring black vetsion of 3ds and searching limited zelda edition or europe SNES edition).
