Perhaps unsurprisingly, the existence of a Resident Evil 3 remake has been revealed. Accidentally leaked to the public prior to any official announcement or event tease, Capcom's latest game was found listed on the official PlayStation Store, as "Resident Evil 3", with official boxart along with it. Three different pieces of artwork were uploaded, one with the Japanese title of Biohazard, another with Resident Evil 3, and an additional title that was called the Z Version, likely a deluxe edition or something to do with the other working series title, Resident Evil: Resistance.

But hey ho, we will see later this month.

I just dont buy into it after the endless claims of trusted sources bs when really its just been fans and websites wanting clicks.

I also think capcom did already deny any plans on re3, stated their are titles theyre working on, which we have had confirmation of minus what 8 will actually be, but im sure they stated its next main re title will only be next gen, not current gen.

Nah we are getting some stuff on Nintendo Switch from them but what besides a few (Mega Man 11, SF 30 anniversary) have been that worthwhile? Capcom could be doing so much more, also earning so much more on the system. But they right out just do not seem to care that much anymore for Nintendo. (Dont get me started on the RE games we do get on Nintendo Switch or the DMC trainwreck triple pakc)

Not meant salty at all as well but as someone who lived the SNES era makes me rather sad

We don't want to start another debate Re no resident evil games on nintendo-we all kno why due to nintendo not making ther machines powerful enough for top game designers to maximise ther ideas without limitations

Take a look at the ps3/360 game library, you might be able to do a wish list of those that havent already been ported.

Or actually should say, if you look at ps4/xbx1 games, start your wish list now, come back in 10 years when nintendo catch up, you just may get them lol.

But it involves effort and optimization.
Im just 'upset' that Capcom does not even really try anymore it seems at least to the public eye.

It might just be; Mega Man X9 (if that ever happens), Street Fighter V (that should not be that demanding).

Well Capcom can do whatever they want really. I was just voicing my opinion on their approach.

But stating Nintendo should make a system as powerful as ... well ... given the choice to innovate and go with the hybrid form factor ... you are kinda asking for something that would not work out in their favour at all.

Simply put Nintendo's choice has forced other choices, I get that. But a hell of a lot of developers have gone above and beyond on the platform and see tremendous success thanks to it.

Capcom is doing as little as they can it seems, at least in my eyes. You may disagree on that for sure.

But check out Digital Foundry's excellent video on the subject if Sony or for that fact Microsoft could take the hybrid form on at all;

its because the money theyll spend doing so, brings little return.

nintendo have always had problems when it comes to third party, im pretty confident that nintendo intentionally release inferior hardware so its own recycled games gets majority of the market.

it bores me that each gen we get nintendo "promising" to improve, the fanboys blindly fall for it and blindly defend them, where as everything i said before the switch came out, had fanboys acting like spoilt children quoting me, insisting i am wrong, blah blah blah.

yet its all been proven, yet again.

now wait for the PS5/nextBOX to launch, this will push nintnedo even further behind, devs will have no interest at all in even attempting to port its fresh new titles.

and yes, nintendo will again be first to release yet again a new system just to be keep in the market, make note that this is their 2nd gen console during the same gen cycle of consoles - all because nintendo want to push bs gimmicks and cheap hardware, than actually focus on what is important, a gaming console.

theres nothing to say you cant have bs gimmicks and actually provide next gen hardware at the same time.
