Homebrew Question Question for those who sell hacked Pokemon on eBay

I want to sell hacked Pokemon on eBay (I mean some are going for £5 each it's crazy lol). But how are they actually managing to trade with people online? I've been searching everywhere for ways of going online on Sword and Shield specifically and the only things I've found are ways to do it with other lan players. My only guess is that they have 2 switches, 2 games and are trading each individual hacked pokemon to the non-hacked Switch through Local play. But these people are selling hundreds of hacked Pokemon a day, does that mean they have to catch hundreds of Pokemon (to trade with themselves) on the non-hacked Switch? Wouldn't that be really difficult without cheats too?
I'm really new to all this so sorry if this is a dumb question! Thank you in advance for any answers.

They are obviously using pkhex to generate those pkmn for sale. A shiny Foreign 6IV Ditto is probably the most popular to sell

Yeah I'm using PKHeX too. But I just don't know how they're able to actually go online and trade them to their customers. I was thinking of trading them to my un-hacked switch with Shield but that would mean earning thousands of money to buy thousands of pokeballs to trade thousands of Pokemon lol I'm sure there must be an easier way.

2 ways to do this.
1. They either local trade the pkhex pkmn to their 2nd clean switch -I used to do this b4 hacking my 2nd switch
2. Or They have emunand/emuMMC setup to dump-inject saves or even use cheats ingame.
FTP their saves to transfer via PC for pkhex then go into cfw sysnand (Offline) to inject their save for the legit game. Then switch back to OFW mode.profit. -This is what I do now

Sorry for the noob question but how do you switch back to OFW? I'm so new to this, I've only been using sysnand this whole time for everything (if that's important as I'm not sure whether I need to use emunand for OFW kind of stuff now).

Oooooor, they just use CFW on sysNAND and go online anyway. Which is what the entire Atmosphere-NX team does with their Switch’s. They all use CFW and go online since before Atmosphere was released publicly and they haven’t been banned because they don’t do stupid shit like pirate games or install NSP homebrew or forwarders.

So the sellers likely boot CFW, extract their save, edit it, import it, reboot to stock and then trade. They likely make so much money that even if their console did get banned they’d just buy another.

Hekate 5.2 Payload gives you the ability to switch in and out of cfw/ofw-sysnand or emuMMC. Emunand and EmuMMC are only needed just to be extra safe in using multiple homebrew apps. The only thing you need for cfw sysnand is checkpoint any save file injecting app will do. but since your sysnand is already dirty with stuff emunand is optional. Just inject the save in cfw mode, when you are ready to trade turn off the switch to go back into ofw

Thank you! So I just boot up my Switch without injecting and I should be safe? (well - as safe as it can be with homebrew lol) Or do I boot up in emunand first?

You dont really need emunand just for checkpoint. Just dump the save file and edit with pkhex then inject it. After that get out of cfw by turning off the Switch so you can trade online in OFW. I'm wondering if there's any way of cleaning the sysnand - transferring it to the emunand but for some reason it's hard to find any posts that are in a similar position as me, I'm only finding people who already have clean a sysnand.

Only way to clean the nand is if you made a dump backup of your sysnand when it was clean. Meaning before you hacked it, if you haven't im afraid its too late to restore a clean nand. Emunand is supposed to be dirty you wouldn't accomplish anything transferring a clean to that. The purpose of Emunand is to let you do all the homebrew, cheats, and piracy on while keeping your sysnand clean with legit games and for online play to be safe from obvious bans.

People could be getting banned too though tbh, I don't see how either should cause a ban though. I've only just put my listing up so just hoping for the best lol.

if you care about selling things on eBay I would remove it now and forget about it. once your banned that's it and not just u your intermediate family as well

Nah me and my family never sell on ebay, although we do buy stuff from there, surly you can make another account? I really don't know much about selling and banning on ebay.

yea i manage to keep a account for buying stufff and it hasn't been ban and i used it for years so they don't care if u buy

Not sure if anyone can answer, but if I sell all 25 gigantimax (6iv with the option of shiny or none-shiny) - including toxtricity and snorlax (which I don't see anywhere else on ebay) will the person buying them have any trouble using them online since at least 4 of them are 100% obviously not legit (eevee, pika, meowth and snorlax)?
