Nintendo is bringing back their much-beloved modern JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles, to a new platform. Nintendo Switch owners will get the chance to play a remastered version of the 2011 title, when it launches next year. Intricate details were not given, but a trailer shows off what the game will look like on the Switch.

This just reminded me that I haven't finished this game yet on my 3DS... now I don't know whether to finish that, or wait for this and restart from the beginning.

Am I the only one who despises X's sub par soundtrack? Nothing but "uh's" and "yeahs" please, it's too gangsta for my tastes.

Honestly I didn’t HATE it, it was just different to me than the original soundtrack. Not that I minded it since the game itself had little to do with the original.

Though I will admit that I only played until around chapter 3 or so. I deleted all the install data off my Wii U so I could play Splatoon and I never went back to it lol

If there was an option to use a different soundtrack, sure, but the first and one on Switch are way better. At least add dual audio.

I'll stick to the good old xenoblade chronicles on the wii emulation since I'm still in the middle of progress atm.

Having only tried a bit of this game on the 3DS, it was admittedly a little hard to bear with the visuals on that thing, but this seems to completely remedy that issue for me. Here's hoping I can actually get into it this time.

no they made it the most generic anime bullshit on the planet and dumbed everything down(although X started the whole simplified combat thing). Also please don't shoehorn gacha shit in too thanks.

The battle system of 1 was war worse. But then again there are also people that defend the mess of a battle system that is in ff14.

But yeah the gacha system was grabage

I emulated it on PC, but the new version looks pretty bad Imo. I hope what we seen isn't the finished product.

On Dolphin, you can add HD textures that are resolutions that only full powered PCs can support within reason. Or do you want your Switch to explode!? XD

Anime bullshit? You do realize that xc1 was made to look like anime too with characters big eyes and such, but the graphics didn't help so they make it in that weird way.
Also the new XC: definitive edition art style look like XC2, which is good to me.

I kid you not, I've spent the last 20 minutes ultra-hyped for this and this alone. I just can't get my breath. I'm such a huge fan of this game.

Also, judging from the end of the teaser they've added the scrapped Bionis' left shoulder map, so that'll be interesting.
