Nintendo is bringing back their much-beloved modern JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles, to a new platform. Nintendo Switch owners will get the chance to play a remastered version of the 2011 title, when it launches next year. Intricate details were not given, but a trailer shows off what the game will look like on the Switch.

I kid you not, I've spent the last 20 minutes ultra-hyped for this and this alone. I just can't get my breath. I'm such a huge fan of this game.

Also, judging from the end of the teaser they've added the scrapped Bionis' left shoulder map, so that'll be interesting.

No it didn't, when they showed the grass and environment, I thought they were going to show a before and after clip. But they didn't, it looked pretty bad. I'm hyped for it, but I hope they make it look a bit better than what they showed us.

Xenoblade Chronicles X would require they redo the map system which used the gamepad. Wouldn't be a simple port.

The graphics on the 3DS version was a little too blurry for my tastes.
This is exactly what I wanted but not looking forward to the full 60 price on a game I bought before. (least no more gamestop exclusive?)
I'm sure Xenoblade Chronicles X will make the jump too eventually as 've heard a rumor they are looking into it but finding it difficult. I'd hope they make a complete 3 pack why nots though.

Yeah stuff like this is subjective, so while it didn’t look good to you that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look good to someone else. And to me, it looked hella good especially coming from the New 3DS version (though I will say, the graphics in that version didn’t take as big a hit compared to the original Wii release, everything just looks way fizzier, so props to Nintendo/whoever was responsible for the port for pulling that off).
