When I say their exclusives, I mean ones owned by MS. Cuphead is not owned by MS.
they own the studio so they kinda own it, they bought alot of studios this couple years, but they are letting them do what they wamt, my guess is since their idea is to make xbox anywhere stream type of deal they dont care if their games end up on more devices since they want to make them known so then, they can put exclsuive on stream and you pay a subscription and so on.
Err, no they don't. Studio MDHR is an indie Dev, they're not owned by anyone.
hmm never thought of it that way, but hope you get into pc one day. if you're comfortable with consoles as it is fine, i just hope xbox got some game changers at e3.
Because not everyone wants a multipurpose machine that costs 500 bucks more.don't know why they even bother steam has all their games now zero reason to own an xbox now. it'll be joining the dreamcast soon
microsoft funded the game they have the right to choose where its released enterily, the rumor has that microsoft asked them to port the game to the switch to be part of that microsoft nintendo partnership they are creating i dont recall the name of it but its some microsoft studio owned games on the switch and who knows when microsoft stream becomes a thing they stream to the switch as well.
It obviously is, so nothing wrong with taking it with a grain of salt - still, I'm talking more about cultural relevancy of said franchises, and in that regard, it's fair to say that Microsoft just isn't as big as it's used to be. New Halo and GoW games, despite semi-decent reception, didn't stir that much hype; Forza, as you mentioned, is contained in a niche genre; Crackdown 3 was pretty much ignored by everybody (unlike Crackdown 2, which actually managed to disappoint at least someone); and promising newcomers like Sunset Overdrive and Ashen, while decent in their own right, just aren't on the same level of hype potential as even some of the B-Tier PlayStation franchises. Point is, both Sony and Nintendo can pretty much curb-stump Microsoft when it comes to franchises a lot of people actually care about at the moment, which puts MS in a rocky situation.

I agree to an extent - Nintendo is an undisputed leader of first-party franchises. Still, Sony is generally good at both kickstarting new IPs (Bloodborne, Gravity Rush) and reviving old ones (God of War reboot was universally acclaimed for example), so they know how to stay relevant. That was primary problem with XBone, really - old IPs were underwhelming compared to X360's offerings, and new IPs were mostly in "mildly cool" category, which earned console the dubious reputation of "multiplatform machine".
the problem with sony is they made bloodbourne and probably will make a second one but that will be it , it will die there most likely, and it wont be a legacy, and yeah gravity rush is a neat little game but i never saw anyone dying to play it, sure it might be good but it doesnt sell that much so its legacy its probably done with the second entry already lol.

nintendo was always a 1st party company since the n64, basicaly been alive with 1st party alone since the 90s, most third partys just stay away from them with afew exceptions, i mean the gc did have some 3rd party support i guess but not the best, the rest its better no to talk about it lol.
Yeah, power is only one part of what makes PC better than Xbox. You've got mods, free online play, a massive game library spanning back to the 80s, emulation, piecemeal hardware upgrades, an ad-free experience, tons of different places to get discounts on games, the list goes on and on. The only things appealing about modern consoles are exclusives and simplicity (and a smaller form factor in Switch's case). Microsoft has given up all their exclusives, and Xbox One's UI is a cluttered mess.
The only drawback from PC is the fact that it's super easy for games to get pirated and cracked,given the immense available tools for hackers to do so. That's the only reason why Xbox would win over PC in this cases by it's security not being cracked down as of yet( publicly to say the least)
Then again, it's only because Xbox One has no exclusives that interest in cracking it is near zero. PS4 and Switch have both obviously been cracked for some time now.
True in that regard. In all honesty Xbox should cease to be. Pretty obvious as to why no one has shown any interest in cracking it's security.
