Edit: Many things have changed ever since I first published this post. For instance, I was finally able to get a new charger for the GamePad, as well as finding the battery that lasts longer. So SysConfigTool became useless to me. Not to mention that recently, @GaryOderNichts has been working on versions of many Homebrew apps that can be used for multiple controllers. These offer a better and safer solution for GamePad-less users. I recommend to keep an eye out on these releases, here's the link to the main thread if you are interested: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-controller-mods-use-homebrew-gamepad-free.563011/ Besides certain specific necessities, there are really no benefits to use SysConfigTool right now. It served its purpose for my specific case, but now I don't recommend you use it. (unless there are no other options available) For those reasons, I will no longer give people the SysConfigTool through PMs. If any moderator sees this, feel free to lock the thread. It really is useless now. Thanks for reading.

Original Post: Recently, my Wii U Gamepad's charging ability has stopped working and until I get not only a new charger, but also a new charging stand (since the port does not work) I can't use apps such as the System settings or a LOT of homebrew that work only with the Gamepad.
So I've been looking for any way to change some system settings without the Gamepad and discovered about the "System Config Tool" and how it only used to work on Rednand until GBATemp member @punderino created a version that works on Sysnand without bricking the console.
I need this tool in order to change the Calendar due to the clock being ahead by a few minutes and to connect the console to the internet since I don't have a LAN adapter and even if I did, the Wii U is not close enough to the Modem for any Ethernet cable to reach.
I haven't found anything in regards as to how can I install the tool & more importantly: where can I find it. I even checked "That ISO site" and found nothing.
With this in mind, could somebody help me install this tool? Thank you.

I know that there is no version of Wup Installer GX that works without the Gamepad, but what about Wup Installer Mod Y? It's text based so I don't see why it couldn't work with the Wii U Pro/Classic Controller. Do you know of any version that works without the Gamepad? similar to this version of the Homebrew Launcher that works without the Gamepad.

1- It's available on "that anus trade site", which by the way is Punderino's, iirc
2- I don't remember if bluetooth controller friendly versions of both the HBL and wupinstaller y-mod were made (I am but only of the former), so chances are you're going to need to fix your gamepad first (which you should do anyway - I hate software workarounds for hardware problems :) )
3- it's a single cell lithium battery, if you don't have any better you can charge it with a current-and-voltage controlled power supply (the fairly common 4-knob coarse/fine 2-display affairs)

1- Thanks for the info. I was able to download the tool. (even if I can't install it for now)
2- The fact there is a version of the HBL that works with the Wii U Pro/Classic Controller means that (at least for text based apps) they can create versions compatible with these controllers making the navigation similar to Wii Homebrew apps.
3- I'm afraid that I lack knowledge about this kind of stuff, so this just means I'm going to need the charger, charger stand and new battery for a longer battery life.

Judging from some screenshots I've seen, I think you can change the language, but I don't think you can make the Wii U region free. For that I think you are better off installing a CFW such as Mocha or Haxchi.

the screenshots on his site are actually from a different version. for example, you can dump saves, but you can't inject them. I told him about it.

Not really, you are only changing the language of the system and not the region itself so it should be safe.
Do you have an USA Wii u?
Could you change for Japanese just to test it?
Cause I'm about to buy one and it's really cheap and I don't wanna lose this opportunity hahaha

I can't remember if you can make it region free, but it will show you which regions it can use. I think it reads that from the sys_prod.xml, 'cause I modified mine, and it showed up as region free in system config tool.

Yes I do have an American Wii U, however I can't use this tool to test this since I don't have a Gamepad to install the tool unfortunately.

Maybe you can test this.

This is good to know, I only wished for the system menu be all english, since I'm not very familiar with japanese hahahaha

that I don't know. I didn't look at all of the options, but there's a disclaimer that says there's a high brick risk if you mess around without knowing what you're doing. those are mainly the bottom options. I just used it to mass install and mass dump games/saves.

I'd advise you not to try it. the system has virtually no safeguards to protect against system software corruption. you might try it in redNAND to see what happens. that's about all redNAND's good for.

yeah, I modified sys_prod.xml on redNAND first. once I verified that it worked, I did it on sysNAND. I kept a backup of the original, unmodified file.

I uninstalled both versions. I was using redNAND and sysNAND at the same time. system config tool on sysNAND causes a blank space on redNAND, which I didn't like.
