Here’s is a REAL challenge. Using the twilight menu to emulate a ds rumble pak and stream the dsi to a pc to be able to use a rumble game pad?

Hey, I just changed the profile name on the DSi settings after installing twilightmenu, but the name that shows on the top left on twilightmenu is the old one. Any way to solve that? Thanks!

Hello.:)

Thats why you have changed it AFTER the NAND Backup. The CFW/TWiLight Menu uses your Nand Backup for the System Launcher. You have to tell TWiLight in the settings to boot in SD NAND Launcher and there you can change it.

TWiLight Menu:

Settings (not System Menu)!
- Misc. Settings
- change to SysNAND Launcher 000000007.app .
- scroll down to Standard Launcher
- change to System Menu.
- exit with B.
Turn your DSI OFF/ON otherwise you come again to the original DSi Launcher.

Simply to differentiate:

Original DSi Launcher - NO SOUND
SD Nand DSi Launcher - SOUND

When I do this, I get "An error has occurred..." screen. My 2GB SD card didn't work, so I had to use a 4GB SDHC card, which gives me that error if I don't use TWiLight. Any way to circumvent this?

Reminder for all.
Here is a wonderfull tool to provide automatic HiyaCFW and TWiligtMenu++ install.
https://github.com/mondul/HiyaCFW-Helper/releases
If you expirience some problems with HiyaCFW or TWilightMenu++, then try to provide fresh install.
Many problems will be solved at once.

If it's not simple to change, I'll redo the process or just leave it as it is. I have hit enough walls before achieving success. :P

No.:(

I can´t explain,but for my DSi´s a 16GB SD Card worked.I don´t know on what it depends.
Robz8 said CLEARY it don´t work on greater than 2 GB Cards.Therefor there is no solution.

Hey guys.

I have been looking for a way to play DS games on my 3DS (CFW) and apparently this is the best way.

I am looking at the first page and I am already confused by step 1 - "In the 7z file, extract the "_nds" folder from both the 7z root and the "DSi&3DS - SD card users" folder, to the SD Card root. Merge folders, when asked to."

What exactly does this mean? If I move the _nds folder onto my SD card and then move a second _nds folder across, its not going to merge, it will replace the first folder I move.

Maybe I am being stupid here but could anyone explain the best way to get this app on my 3DS.

Thank you.

Thanks for the response.

But step 1 does not say to extract the "DSi&3DS - SD card users" folder to my SD card. It tells me to extract BOTH _nds folders to my SD card root. Hence I am saying if I do that then one folder will overwrite the other and not merge it.

Are you telling me that I need to copy the _nds folder and the DSI&3DS - SD card users folder over to my SD root? I understand that the DSI&3DS folder contains a sub folder called _nds but that is not what the instructions are telling me to do - its quite confusing.
