I have found out a way to convert an item to Primal item. I have tried a few ones and they have been converted correctly but still use at your own risk.
Just unzip the file to the D3Edit folder and make sure files are replaced.
I modified the code based on D3Edit v1.0.5
I am still in the Newbie rank so I cannot post a link to the version, so please find it in author’s repo

You saved me tons of hours of rerolling with Kanai's Cube xD

Ain’t this the truth..! :lol:

Below are links that can help you with hacking your console; essentially, one-implementation cost's, one doesn't... :sleep:

***Your'll find charts & other fun-stuff in the 3rd link, if your super-undecided***

https://sx.xecuter.com/
https://guide.sdsetup.com/
https://guide.sdsetup.com/comparingcfws

Once you've got to grips with hacking your device, briefly:
  • export Diablo III save using Checkpoint etc;
  • transfer save-game from MicroSD to PC;
  • on PC, download/install D3Edit, ensuring Python dependancies;
n.b download/import RobertIII's changes if you want, set primal attribute options;
  • launch D3Edit, open account.dat, make/save changes;
  • transfer edited-save back to MicroSD;
  • import Diablo III save using Checkpoint etc:

Re-join a *slightly less painful* grind....

:grog:

Guys, I've checked the leaderboards just out of curiosity and noticed everyone seems to have this broken 1.000.000.000% damage "Fire" ring (not the Dev only buff test one mentioned in page 20). I've searched for its ID everywhere but I haven't been able to locate it. Does anybody know where to get it?

Edit: Just noticed somebody asked about it already but didn't get an answer. I hope we do now! :)

Apologies for the late reply, got married over the weekend. Priorities and all that.. :P

Whats with your drive options, mapping/naming; is that a live-OS image your running through.?

It seems to not be liking a type return from the search on the currencies object/tables of your save. Have you patched your D3Edit v1.05 with the primal menu edits also.?

Is the save you dumped an active game or a brand-new start.? Also, how exactly did you dump your Diablo III save, using what method; Checkpoint/EdiZon etc.

Guys, I've checked the leaderboards just out of curiosity and noticed everyone seems to have this broken 1.000.000.000% damage "Fire" ring (not the Dev only buff test one mentioned in page 20). I know the ring your talking about but can’t help unfortunately. Surely though as it’s broken the standard affix rules, it wouldn’t have a standard ‘iD’ you could just enter to acquire it.?

I’m guessing that ridiculous item change was directly HEX-edited in by way of trial & error until something non-game breaking held;

Is there a way to push the paragon points past 50? for example putting 999 points into critical hit chance?

on the ps4 savewizard save editor you can set each paragon non-mainstat to 999 and in game it'll show as 999/50, and you can set mainstat&vit to 9999.

What's the highest plvl? i tried 9999 and it works fine, but then i tried 30000 and my game crashed.

Save editor works great! keep up the good work!

I can make you one stronger with the super modded gems if you want and name it derrin. We use the mystic tab on that editor to go further with extra affixes or increase over the limit ones.

Edit: My friend found out how to make them with this editor aswell and will post the info whenever he has a moment for it, cheers!

When running this I get an error that says
ImportError: No module named ‘google’

I have python3 and protobuf, running in terminal on Debian 9.

Edit: Fixed. When i installed protobuf it was for python2. Pip3 install of protobuf did the trick.

Hey Everyone,

FreaknGary here. After using both the D3Edit (D3E) and the paid editor DIII Save Editor (PE), here's a few things I've learned. I'm no programmer btw, I just used what I found.
  • The 1M and 1B damage rings aren't hex edits. They're actual items programmed into the game but never drop normally and was probably only used by the developers. Everything has to be done within certain parameters set in the game. If you add an item the game doesn't like, it'll crash while loading that character. The game can also crash mid game. For example if you add sockets to a legendary gem and then try to socket legendary gems into that, gemception lol, your game will crash.
  • If you want to find the 1B damage ring, you can use the process of elimination by adding item codes until you get it. For example add an item with the code 000000001 and check in game if it's the ring, if it's not then you try 000000002, if that doesn't work, then try 000000003, and so forth.
  • D3E is missing certain stronger affixes such as +1870-2325 Damage and +1,745 primary attribute. Could someone add these into D3E? I've only seen them in PE.
  • One of the good things about D3E is that it allows you to add more than 6 affixes but it's missing the stronger ones like the ones listed above. I've gotten away with 8 and 10 affixes in D3E. PE lets you add 6 affixes plus 1 more hidden in the mystic enchant. Keep in mind that these aren't counting the special legendary affixes which are always attached to each legendary/set item.
  • You can add affixes to legendary gems and they'll show up when you socket them into the equipment. In case, you didn't already know.
  • I'm pretty sure max paragon level is 20k. Haven't seen anyone in game higher than that. Stealth tip: bump your paragon up to 20k, use up all your points, bump paragon back down to 800 or whatever, you'll still have the points in the stats.
  • The PvP Amulet already comes with a hidden socket, only add 2 more, if you add 3, it won't load.

*hint* start with the 1M ring

So I just got this working and maxed out everything I could. Went back into town and bought all the upgraded armor and weapons. However when I attack the dead it does no damage and they can kill me almost instantly. Am I missing something or is my upgrades so early in the game freaking it out?
