Hacking Discussion Do Banned Switches = Console-wide / Account-wide. Issues Transferring user? Answers~

So I got my Black console banned 3 days ago, It was a total lock-down banned, If you wanted to connect to do anything [DENIED]
User saves from legit games could not be transferred the normal method so 3rd party HB app had to be used.

Logging the account into my nintendo showed nothing strange or related to the ban.

I bought a Smash bundle, an eevee bundle, and a Black XAW1006 serial switch to test account transfer / add ability's.

Trying to transfer anything from a new switch to the banned switch fails, and vice versa.

Adding my main account to the Eevee switch had all online functionality working, including re-downloading previously purchased software and games.

So Thats it, If someone tells you your account is toast with a ban they are full of it. Console only.

thank you for this, my switch has been banned for ages, but i managed to unlink my nintendo account with all my legit purchases just before it was banned, now that smash is out, this gives me an excuse to pick up anouther switch to keep legit

The Banned Console? Yes, everything else gives the 2XXX error code.

Yes, unless you hack the new console again. Then it will be banned again.

But don't you need to go online to unlink your account? You cannot do system transfer from a banned console, since this has to be done via connecting to the online services. Unlinking as well. Only chance might be to call or chat up Nintendo Service and say that you lost access to the console / lost it / had it stolen and they unlink it for you.

Is there a way to transfer save files from a banned console to a non-banned one without hacking the new one? Or do i need to hack the new one and use Checkpoint?

You can use the local save data transfer feature however this requires both consoles to be on the latest firmware.

Then your only option would be to hack both consoles.

Would I be relatively safe hacking the second console and only using checkpoint to transfer the save and do nothing else with it? I really only want to transfer over my pokemon via home and now the ban prevented that.
