Is your microSD formatted as fat32 or exfat? Because I have a strong feeling it's probably corrupt. Might want to just try using a second card formatted as fat32.
Christ, please stop with blaming everything on corrupt sd cards. I've had 1 corrupt sd card in 10 years. his problem is he's using the sx-os installer which indeed needs and update. If he uses tinfoil those titles will install and play fine on sx-os. :P

Monster boy update , and Warriors orochi 4 version 1.0.6 update can be installed with Xecuter Os but when you tried to start the game asks you to update the switch firmware or cancel .
Im on 6.0.1

I've never had any issues with the built-in installer

Works pretty well for me
some new titles won't install with sx-os install. You need to use tinfoil.

Thanks, I already tried that with an USB FAT32 Stick, it doesn't change anything.

That problem can be solved by patching them with NSC_Builder_v0.75.b, great and extreme usefull tool:

Hello,
Im using my Switch with FW 6.1.0 an SX OS 2.3 beta.
In the last days more and more base + update NSP-files can't be installed.
I mean files that still don't need FW 6.2.0. Starting the installation gives an error and no update request.
Checking the NUT infos and using the XCI-Explorer shows, that the files are ok and that they should run with FW 6.1.0.
But they don't.

Here some examples:
base: ACA NeoGeo - Neo Geo Cup 98 - The Road to the Victory [010061C00AFDA000][v0]
base: Conduct together [010043700C9B0000][v0]
update: Keep Talking and Nobody explodes [01008D400A584800][UPD][v65536]
update: Knock-Knock [010001A00A1F6800][UPD][v65536]
RequiredSystemVersion is 6.1 or below.
Thoe have a reading issue for the control nca in SX OS installer loader. They work in SX OS even if some may need to be patched.
You just need to use tinfoil to install them, Addubz or Blawar (dz). Addubz ne will work if you don't do the ignore firmware, if you do with these games it detected them as "unknown", if you don't do it it'll detect them fine. If you use dz and you patched the game you need to use using "unsigned code" option.
If you use xci the game icon won't show in the loader, it'll show after being load in the system and the xci will work fine. A way to make the icon show it's to make a custom control nca with the gui xortroll has for hacpack (nspack) and then use the function I have in multi mode to incorporate it. If you use multi mode with a sigle file it'll work as the single mode but will have that ability.

Of those I can tell you: Conduct together requires 6.0 and it's update it's also patchable to 6.0 (not to 5.X). It will work as a xci with game and update too but won't show the icon.
BTW the force icon function won't replace the control nca, it's just put in the normal partition to influence the icon shown in SX OS loader.

Tinfoil doesn't find any NSP files. Where must these be located ?
You enter in tinfoil and it'll create a folder in your card called tinfoil. Then you put them in the nsp subfolder wich it also creates.

GREAT !!!!
All works fine with installation via Tinfoil.
So SX OS is to blame.
Hurra :grog:
Yah it's their loader installer. Something seems to have change in some recent control nca and it gives reading error in their installer and don't show icons in their loader (like it happened before with custom-nsp and it's xci conversions)

Conduct together: base installation is no problem with Tinfoil. But why do you say that the update is patchable?
The file-info mode of NSC_Builder_v0.75.b says that it's not patchable below 6.2.0:

It is. That function shws you to what is patchable just changing the RSV (more or less sure patch). If you change the keygeneration too to "keygeneration 6" (FW 6.0-6.1) it'll work in this case and the program will set the corresponding RSV.
In this case you can make it work in FW 6.0-6.1 that way but it won't work in 5.X since it seems to have another restriction.
Others seem to go down to 5.X fine like Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo which needs 6.0 or Smash Bross update wich needs 6.2.

What I can do is to put a note saying you may be able to set a smaller RSV if you set a lower keygeneration.

I'm sure about this one since I tested it.

That sounds like nsp file corruption to me and if you are using bob cdnsp that can happen try deleting bob or whatever your using dodge maybe to download the nsp and reinstall all the required files including your very then grab your nsp again and install it. Just saying I have the monster boy cursed kingdom title xci installed and update 1.0.2 and it works all ok for me.

No, you're wrong.
It's SX OS to blame, see the posts above.

I’m telling you I have installed the update with the xci hdd/usb and it runs 100% perfect. Conduct together just install it with n1dus it overwrites the firmware requirement and runs fine.
