Hacking Luma might of caused a bug in my save of ACNL. May i get some help.

OMG IM SO ANNOYED ABOUT LUMA IT JUST BROKE THE CARTRIDGE OF MY FAV GAME ACNL SO LET ME EXPLAIN IT ALWAYS GIVES AN EXCEPTION ERROR AND WHEN I TURN THE ARM11 EXCEPTION ERROR OF IT SAYS AN ERROR OCCURED AND EVEN WHEN I DID IT ON MY OTHER 3DS IT HAD THE ERROR I HATE LUMA SO FREAKING MUCH LUMA CREATORS OWE ME FREAKING £100 (maybe not)

Except thats not how it works. Luma3DS is released under the GPL v3 license which includes NO WARRANTY, anything bad that goes wrong is your fault for running the software.

If you describe the issue in full without capital letters then someone may be able to help you. One thing I would suggest is to try and rip the save file off the cart with a tool like JKSV or Checkpoint, so at least you don't lose that.

generic errors randomly happened and after that many generic errors the game crashes after the loading screen so its unplayable

You know you are 100% responsible for what you do with your 3DS. Using Luma means you understand the risks and everything you do with it is entirely on your shoulders. No mod or hack is risk free. This should be commonsense.

My guess would be a faulty cart. More likely than Luma fucking it up imo

First of all you, you should never under in any circumstances select the option ( ) Disable ARM11 exception handlers in the Luma3DS configuration. The only time you do so is for NTR plugins and BootNTR CFW(?) when they require ARM11 E.H. turned off.

Second, maybe not all hope is lost. See if Checkpoint or JKSM can read your cartridge and back up your save data. You might have gotten unlucky in that your game cart died prematurely.

Animal Crossing Leaf New?

I guess in a world with ABG (Advance Game Boy?) and GCN (Game Cube Nintendo?) you can put acronym letters in any order you want.

Anyway, wow luma must be a hell of a thing if it can break your game on a system it's not even installed on. Does ACLN... have a way to reset the SRAM (MSRA? ) or flash or how ever it stores saves? I'd look into that maybe, as that's really all that it could have maybe done, wrote something over the game save. Some games have a special combination you hold on start up to get an option to delete your saves and restart anew, dunno if ACLN,,, does but if so I'd try that before demanding money for use at your own risk free software like luma.

There are some steps to try before giving up, as others have pointed out.

-Make sure all your luma stuff is up-to-date. (meaning: What version of luma are you using? you using A9LH still or did the switch to B9S? etc.
-try and extract the save
-give any other details that might be relevant so we can help you save some cash

They kinda gave you. Way to play all the games, and you would want money from them for breaking 1? Also it could've just broke....

Try and backup your save, then maybe there's a way of fixing your cart.

Also check if GodMode9 can extract your save file from the cartridge if the those two homebrew save managers can't.
