Best thing to do, would be build NAND from scratch. Upload PRODINFO somewhere and email me biskeys and I`ll take a look if you like. In PM though because not sure about rules.

Yea I was having issues with hekate 4.1.... system crashes, the system just hanging in RCM without posting or doing anything. Im gonna go back to 4.0. Screw that

Keys are console specific budd arent they.. dont want you fcking up your switch.,,

hold down power button for 20 seconds to make sure it's off. Then Hold + and - volume buttons and press power.

Yes I know that.

Not using my switch.

I have all firmware NCAs ;)

How did it turn out Canna ?. That's really weird any chance it's internal storage failure that just happened to freak as coincidence it as just bought new right ??. RMA that sucka.

I've also just recently ran a backup after upgrading to 6.0 with Hekate 4.1, no issues on my end. If it was a brand new console, I would assume such a thing occurring would be down simply to luck. You got a unit with something not in proper working order, take it back!

So the question is
Does Hekate have brickcode
I audited the code and I can safely say it does not, hard to do that with some alternatives. :v)

its not a new switch but it was a untouched switch... the only time it run hekate was today.. trying to backup 5.1.0 rawnand.bin with hekate 4.1 got to 99% dumping froze... could not cancel dump with key combo or go back. had to hard reset the switch.. at reboot it failed to load into stock or hekate payload.... rebuild the nand did nothing. had to use hacdiskmount to do that... battery is fine and fully charged... Switch was absolutely fine until i used hekate today. Sd card is fine also not that it affects the boot anyway...

Annoyed is a understatement..

I am done with this, and am sending it off to matty, hes gonna run some tests and check the board for me..
as i have exhausted my self today trying to find the fault... but it all happend aster using hekate dump,, yes yes i know it shouldnt happen if im only dumping nand. but well absolutley fine till dumping, gets to 99% then dies ? i dunno what it is or what to blame maybe a coincidence but fuck my life.. thank you all for supporting me on this,
the nand guy gets nand fcked haha ... Il let you know the outcome when i can..

Honestly, seeing this play out, it sounds much more likely it being some fault in the hardware in someway. Perhaps in the power cable used (or the board), there have been well documented cases with the Switch being notoriously inefficient in regulating charge and then bricking in a weird way. And this somewhat sounds similar to RajNX 'bricking' (when it didn't) with EvilSperm's board (when it was simply a USB charging outlet). Yes, yours is untouched, etc, but hardware failure can and does happen. I can understand your frustration in thinking it being Hekate because that is what you were doing at the time (heck, there may be some bug, though unlikely since it is just copying data; and think CTCaer was also attempting to help and pinpoint and would be more than motivated in knowing if this were an issue with it)

But yeah, don't just disparage the developer (who has also been helping in pinpointing things) for what likely is a hardware failure in someway. If i'm wrong, I'm wrong, but that is what seems most likely.

I had an experience where I too was blaming hekate for my switch's dysfunction but it ended up being faulty hardware as confirmed by me sending it to nintendo and them repairing it. If your switch is less than a year old it's still covered. You don't even need a receipt as they know exactly when you bought it from the serial number. And I can assure you Nintendo can't tell you've ran hekate.

wait a minute. How are you trying to boot stock?
Because 5.0 burns a efuse. which mean 4.1 can't boot without hekate. And I would check your microsd, it sounds like a faulty one.

I gas the same issue.
New genuine 3.0.2 Switch.
Boot hekate, made backup, no error.
Then rebooted with reinx, and got stuck.
Tryed another microSD, stuck.
Tryed without microSD, ofw, works. From Horizon ofw inserted the microSD and got an error, telling me to power off and retry.
The same microSD works on other two Switch, and with the PC.

Tryed again with 4 microSD with the faulty Switch, no way. So I returned the Switch...
