It "may" by isolated. But it could be a BIG issue also.

My virgin is on 73% and counting.

You might need to open the dump in a hex editor, pad the missing bytes with 0`s until correct size is reached, then open in HacDiskmount and retrieve your prodinfo that way

Oh dude i got the prodinfo i just dont know if its good or bad... like i said the dump got to 99% then said fuck you very much and died,

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If i could test the prodinfo somehow or know if it was fully dumped then il be rebuilding a nand now ..i just got me biskeys so yeah :S fck guess i better try a rebuild

OK. Mine is verifying on green progress bar now. Will let you know if it freezes. You should be able to sort it if you have PRODINFO. Got to assume it is good.

Tell you what... Try a different SD card. Copy SDFiles to a different SD and try to dump again to get prodinfo. See if hekate boots then

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

prodinfo is first thing dumped AFAIK. So that will be OK.

It may seem dumb but have you tried using another SD card or SXOS with the SXOS payload ? i got a lot of problems when i used a bad sd card.

The backup should be good except for the user partition, which isn't essential.

Yeah i appreciate everyones help i understand what has happend well at least i think i do. and know that i must rebuild or restore nand..But the fact of the matter is , i used hekate 4.1 and latest files on a working sd card, to dump my nand for it to get stuck at 99% and freeze do nothing for a hour or so, to have to hard reset to it not to work,, why would a dump or trying to dump with hekate screw or break the nand ??

Im not running any cfw on this switch or sxos payload, im hoping to keep this clean.

did you try version 4 of hekate to see if it works?

Try to add padding to sd card's reader connector and try again.
You can boot vanilla? (not hekate stock. but through nintendo's bootloader)

i've done many backups in the last 2 weeks with the v4.1 code.

EDIT:
Also, hangs on sd card, hang hekate since v3.0.
Because it checks it at start.

Do you have another switch with sx-os? Did you buy a new switch to keep clean for online?
This switch is the clean one its never had rcm on it till today... the other is my dirty bitch and she plays cfw...
STrange tho listen to this i just dumped the partitions in hackdiskmount,, just finished dumping safe partition.. and guess what i thought id try hekate 3.2 again well fck me it booted, im going to try to boot into stock.

Nope blackscreen after first nintendo logo.

I wonder how many switches out there with badly seated sd card readers and most people are unaware of it.

Well, I seated it and tested it. I rebuilt the thing you see.

Tested fine. Could need packing though as CTCaer says.
