On your gitlab it says "For the latest NSO go to releases" but I don't see a releases section on your gitlab? Is there a direct DL link provided on gitlab as well? Im asking so that I can link from elsewhere as linking to a gbatemp download is not good (requires user auth).

Thanks!

THIS IS VERY WIP

Hey,
I've been working on an XCI installer for a while now and here it is.

It's a modded version of tinfoil that allows you to install XCIs.

Instructions:
  1. Put your keys on the root of your sd called prod.keys (I recommend using kezplez to get the keys due to it formatting the keys correctly because weird formatting can mess it up)
  2. To use it just place the XCI in /tinfoil/zerotwoxci/gamehere.xci

Source: https://gitlab.com/2168/zerotwoxci

Precompiled binary is attached just drag and drop into your switch folder and run.

This does not work with atmosphere nor do I intend to target atmosphere as it requires the third system patch which lets you use use a program nca with a corrupt sig while the acid sig is fine. I had a way to patch the ACID sig but that was very very slow and I may redo it in the future but honestly it is not at the top of my list of things to do at the moment.

List of future updates:
  • Do everything out of main XCI file without making new ncas to make SD corruption risk a lot lower
  • FAT32/Split XCI support

DISCLAIMER: I TAKE ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY BRICK OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE EVEN IF IT IS SUPER UNLIKELY. ALSO ZERO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN IF YOU DECIDE THAT ZEROTWO IS THE BEST GIRL AND YOUR FRIENDS HATE YOU FOR IT. please note there is a very possible chance of corrupting your SD card when you use this tool and I recommend backing up everything but the tinfoil folder before you use it as it a small backup and it means if you do corrupt your sd you can just reformat and copy the files over

Love Elise and the rest of the members of 2168-0002

PS: if the XCI does not install please reply with the name of the game and a photo or screenshot of the problem.
Great Work!
Would be cool if it could also do reverse.
Backup legit eshop purchases to xci

Yea, I really don't like linking to 3rd party hosts like mediafire, mega.nz etc for xbins. Prefer to keep long term stable hosts instead. Perhaps this compilation is with the nintendo SDK, and thats why there is no gitlab link?

Do you have your keys in the specified folder as the specified file name?
Yes, at the beginningof the installation process I get the message like "keys found" and then the extraction process begins

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I do get this at the beginning

Hmm, does your dump work with SX OS's XCI Loader? Is it a full dump or is it trimmed?

Yeah, your prod.keys is not getting parsed correctly.
This is a know issue with some weirdly generated files.
We couldn't really figure out why and when it happens yet but creating a new prod.keys and copy pasting the keys in there will probably help.

That means your keys are bad. Maybe check the instructions again.

They did work with SX OS on my other Switch but I haven't tried them on this Switch since I do not have the license

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
