Hello, I've skimmed through the thread and I can't find any information on this so I thought I'd ask. I've been trying to make replacements on rare blades by copying as much of their data onto common blades because you can edit more things in common blades. Recently I've hit a bit of a weird bug. I was copying the "still" (In the first tab under gender when you select a blade in the editor, it is the art that shows up when you see it in the menu. For example, the menu where you see just the driver and the 3 blades they have equipped) of a rare blade and the sometimes the icon or art would be the right one and sometimes it would be an entirely different blade on certain menus.

To give an example of which blade I was working with when this happened, I was changing Sango (Common blade ID #1302) into Praxis (Rare Blade ID #1024, Still ID #230) and yet the art that shows for me in menus such as the first screen after you click characters in game is for Azami (Still ID #234). At first I thought I messed up giving Sango proper IDs so I used the copy blade function in the latest version of the editor but I still got the same problem. A similar thing happened to Suiren (Common Blade ID #1241) when I tried to change her to KOSMOS (Rare Blade ID #1039, Still ID# 247) and she got changed to Wulfric (Still ID #256).

I have a few more examples but I am quite stuck. One last thing I want to mention is, when I changed Tamayori (Common Blade ID#1228) to Fiora (Rare Blade ID#1107, Still ID#283) it worked perfectly. All the menu illustrations are of Fiora, in and out of battle. This is what I found most bizarre. I tried with other DLC characters (T-elos) but I didn't have the same results are Fiora.

Other than the illustrations tho everything is working perfectly. Thank you for making this wonderful editor.

If there is any way to fix this bug, if there is anything I'm doing wrong or if anyone needs more details about helping me solve this then I'd be happy to share.

Ok. So is it even possible to overpower my blades or characters? I gave myself Kos-Mos and want to overpower her. If so how?

I want to report a very weird Bug that destroys the installed Game so you have to reinstall it. I would like to find a solution for that as well.
I wanted to change some settings for Boreas. First i raised the Trust points to 10k (with Trust Rank 5 A, Key Release Level 5). Then i wanted to change the Affinity Chart with no success so instead i gave me 30 of all pouch items and unlocked his Affinity Chart manually ingame. The problem is that some of my changes to his Chart are still there and bugged. His Battle Skill 1 is at Count 1 / Max Count 1 (i did that Count 1) and ingame it says 1/1 and should be unlocked but it isn't. Eating any of the items he wants for that skill doesn't change anything. Essentially I'm stuck with no Lvl on Battle Skill 1.
Then i wanted to change it back to Count 0 / Max Count 1 but that change does completely destroy the game on startup. I tried it twice and had to reinstall my game twice to get it to work again. I don't want to experiment any further if it means destroying my game and reinstalling it every time.

So I hope anyone got a solution for this?

Having a problem with Herald's affinity chart.

So first, I used the finished chart from the thread, no modifications. Didn't work, no nodes above Lv.2 were filled except Electric Mastery. It still unlocks level 5 of her chart. Another issue is that even though the chart is unlocked to Lv.5, I can't seem to get her quest, "The Calm and the Storm" from Eulogimenos.

Next, I did the same thing as before but modified it to have the nodes inactive but Lv.5 accessible to see if that would affect anything. Still the same issues.

Finally, I locked out everything in Lv.5, trying to make it so I haven't accessed it yet. Still the same issues as before except the icons for Lv.5 nodes don't have a lock icon.

Since I overwrote my backup by accident, I tried reverting the changes manually but to no avail. It continues to stay the same as it was before. I've attached the save file in the post. Ideally, I'd like to just have the whole thing filled at this point, hopefully with the quest still open but that may be a pipe dream. Anything to make it "normal" at this point would be nice. Thank you to anyone who pokes around with it.

EDIT: Ate food, got back at it again. I managed to lock Lv.5 with 15/20 progression, no other nodes will activate though per the above descriptions. Gonna try again tomorrow.

EDIT 2: Tested to see if using specials counted towards progression of Lv.5: it doesn't. Guess I'll try to full reset the chart and start from scratch.

Just want to say Thank you for this. It's really easy to use and because of this. I didn't have to grind for 1 week to get KOS-MOS. I just had to do 4 hours of praying to RNGeesus and also editing the save when I got a different rare. Tried adding KOS-MOS on the blade category she did appear but her Creationg blade cinematic is not showing up on the event theater(I'm not sure if that's what you call it) on the menu.

I also suspect I have to be at a certain point in the game for her blade quest to be active, currently at the start of Ch. 7 NG+.

for some reason i am unable to access my xenoblade 2 (probably because of dlc updates i downloaded) i couldn't check your save
the switch im using is a banned switch (i got another switch) so i don't really know whats causing the error

After editing a save with minor stuff (money and core crystals only) and restoring the save through the newest Checkpoint, I had to re-download the DLC (purchased). Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

You can only do it by editing a common blade

I have all DLC and the newest update, i have no probs and edited a lot. :-)

No, it will not be destroyed because it will be another save file.
irasavefile.sav is encrypted.

In that case I'll download the new DLC feeling at ease that we can still edit the save for the main game.

I guess eventually the tool will be updated to edit irasavefile too.
