Yes I am fun at parties.

that was actually biscuits mistake but im glad you picked up on it

I will talk to biscuit so these problems don't persist from here on out

Thank you for this guide.

First time hacking my switch here and I am stuck at the Auto RCM part.

3. Boot your Switch with ReiNX as you have done in the past. KEEP THE JIG INSIDE THE JOYCON RAIL.

4. Go into System Settings -> System -> System Update. Begin the process.

5. While your switch is updating, hold down Volume Up the whole time. Make sure the jig is still inside the rail.

However I had to update my switch in order to have it recognize my micro sd card as exfat. So now there is nothing to update in step 4.

then you can skip it, it's fine - go to the bottom of the guide for instructions on how to use the CFW

At the bottom of the guide where it says ReiNX Tool Kit, would I just go about Toggle Auto RCM and hit Yes meaning it will enable Auto RCM?

if you have not enabled autorcm at all then yes, it will enable it - (if you have enabled it before it will disable it); we're working on a way to detect if it's enabled though and show it

Hello. I dumped a clean NAND before installing NSPs. Btw, can someone tell me if my NAND DUMP is good? Or were there a missing file/s? Please see attached screenshot. On dumping process, I only got 10/11 then it stops saying deleted bla bla. Well I doubt at first so I tried again, but still got same result.

edit: I think it is a good NAND, it restored successfully.

Followed the guide and have my Switch playing backups without issues.

One thing I noticed is that some games asked for an update, how can the switch know that the game have an update if I have it always disconnected from network?

hotspot or going near another updated console without plane mode, they talk together to share latest title update information.

kinda like streetpass for the 3ds system consoles

I followed the guide on the website but after injecting the ReiNX payload, I see the anime logo but after that it does nothing and just goes dark. Anyone ran into this issue? I tried it twice, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Is your SD card formatted as exFAT?

Yes, formated to exFAT. I'm on 4.1 FW (original firmware) and have not put on the exFat update.
Using an exFAT formatted SD card on a console without exFAT will cause a black screen when injecting the payload. Your options are to get the exFAT update outside of the guide or format your SD card to FAT32.

by looking at hekate readme, it seems easy.
note that I didn't test, but it shouldn't be hard to see if it works or not.

put reinx.bin in sd:/bootloader/payloads/
edit bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini

under the {-- Custom Firmwares --} section,

add :
[ReiNX]
payload=reinx.bin

If it doesn't work, try the full path :
payload=bootloader/payloads/reinx.bin

When 5.1.0 was released, all games that has an update before 5.1.0 will be included in 5.1.0.
So for example, Mario Odyssey's update was already at version 3 before 5.1.0, it will be included in 5.1.0.
When you install Mario Odyssey version 1. Your console thinks it is outdated and must install version 3.
All game updates during 5.1.0 won't give you an update nag because you were not connected to internet, only game updates before 5.1.0.
