The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered announced, Switch 2 release confirmed along with free upgrade on all platforms

Announced earlier today, The Witcher 3 is getting a free glow up across all modern platforms. Packaged as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, the game is set to include enhanced visuals, gameplay, and more, alongside the inclusion of both the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. PS5 Pro owners will be able to enjoy enhancements, with Switch 2 players also getting access to some unspecified "exclusive features".

Pre-orders are available now for those wanting to pick the game up on Battle.net or the Nintendo Switch 2, with the game retailing for £45.99 for those who don't own a copy of the original release. The game is set to launch on the 29th of September, so not too long to wait.

In my head I thought they already remastered this game. It was a next-gen update but it felt like a remaster.
